I flipped it over fast. Claire came back with the sheath. She helped me step into it. The zipper caught twice. She yanked until it closed. The color looked wrong against my skin. Too pink. Too flat. I shook my head. She unzipped. “Okay. Mermaid next.” We kept going. I stood on the little platform while she pinned hems. Pins pricked my ankles when I moved wrong. My feet ached in the sample heels. Sweat collected under the shapewear. The air in the room felt thick.

I just took a shower because I might be weak in our meeting. When I came out I was I look at myself in the mirror. This mermaid dress is something for me because my white skin is very close to my body. I went to the intercom to call Rina to fix it. "Rina, come here" I said and went back to the mirror. I'm wearing black wrap high heels so it looks good on my dress. I got even taller because of these high heels. When Rina came in she covered her mouth and came up to me in amazement.

"You're back!" He came out of the kitchen, and his gaze fell on the pile of gift boxes by my feet. His smile instantly froze. "What's all this?" His voice was somewhat tight. I slowly unwrapped one of the boxes and took out those red-bottom high heels. Then, I waved them at him and said, "Pretty, aren't they? The sales associate said this is the most popular style." His face went pale. "Why did you suddenly buy so many?" I smiled. "Suddenly? Weren't you the one who suggested I wear them?"

Kayla rolled her eyes as the kettle whistled its completion. Tansy sat at the edge of the red cushion, Rose, who must have already been back here, sitting beside her. "Have you talked to your friends from the faerie world about your bosses?" Tansy crossed her legs, bending them at the knees so that her feet rested on top of her thighs this time. It hurt Buttercup to watch. "They might be able to tell you about the merrow. From everything I've read, they're deadlier than mermaids by a long shot."

“Do not worry I will not hurt you.” The words put the young mermaid in some relief. She raised her head back up looking at Angela. Her eyes were on her legs. Strange looking things. She thought, trying to figure out what they were. The mermaid had light blue scaly skin. Her hair was long and pink. It was French braided and her hair was very full. She had sparkly pink eyes shimmering like pink stars in the night. “I am a mermaid. What are you?” she asked placing her hand on the ground so she could comfortably face them.

We walked along the path I once walked with Yumena. There seemed to be an influx of more students than before. We walked past a group of girls and they all seemed to have colorful hair that started right at their roots. "What are they?" I referred to the group of girls who were now behind us. They were probably going back to the dorm. "Oh, they're Mermaids. The color of their hair indicates what color tail they have. " Saiora revealed some very important information to me.

I almost whispered as sadness was evident on my voice. I know, I could have considered myself now as the most stupid and hypocrite mermaid but what I wanted are simply legs, not the throne… nor any power at all! I was the mermaid who had an elegant tail despite being a servant, but I would immediately trade them for legs if given the chance. Only the two of us, the Queen and I, had a gorgeous pair of gilded hair and tail. It was written in our Commandment Shell that only a mermaid with natural golden hair and tail would have the chance to rule the palace more than anyone else.

Both their hair and facial features were the same as those of a human being. Moreover, they were very beautiful. They had delicate facial features, fair skin, plump breasts, and two slender hands. They could be regarded as the best of the best. Below their bellies, there was a streamlined fishtail part, which was made up of various scales. It looked like a fishtail wrapped around their legs, which made their figures more moving.
