I looked down at the girl who looked sleepy in my arms. “Sure, princess.” I picked her and led her to my room with her favourite story book. I laid her down on my bed and covered her properly with the blanket. Laying beside her, I opened the book to read her all time favourite story, “The Beauty and The Beast”. “I want to listen the Sleeping Beauty.” She said but her heavy eyes were indicating that she might pass out sooner. “Leah, can I ask you a question about your friend Ace?” I asked her in a hope she could give me a lead.

This story- although a fairy-tale- doesn’t begin with once upon a time nor does it end in happily ever after. No, our story begins in a small town- not too far from here- where an ambitious young girl called Arabella lives with her widowed father, Abraham. Arabella doesn’t come from a large or rich family, it is just her and her alcoholic father that live in the small two-bedroom townhouse in the middle of the small, yet quaint township of Redwood.

They’re like Belle, and everybody sings whatever they say. Maurice met the Beast and imprisoned him in a dark room inside the palace. Gaston climbed savagely with Belle but the woman ignored him. Instead, she hid in him. Within hours Belle saw her father’s horse but went home alone. She rode the horse to take her back to where her father had left the horse. The horse took her to the palace, her father saw her, and she agreed with the Beast that she would be left behind and that her Father would be freed because he was old and sick. Beast agreed, and Belle was left behind.
