My Best Friend : He's the one I have

My Best Friend : He's the one I have

Besides, she was almost done with the atonement child when I walked in earlier. Her current book was titled, a vessel of honor. Written by a renowned christian writer, Rebecca Brown. A devoted christian who was willing to go through hell for the kingdom's sake. Her story had never ceased to amaze me, as not everyone who calls himself a christian is willing to go through that much for the kingdom. Most prefer pleasure to actually doing the things of the kingdom and it's really saddening.

Devourer of Souls

Devourer of Souls

The subtitle added: And You Can Too. I wasn’t that surprised. Whenever we’d hosted speakers for our VBS who had written books or devotionals, The General Store had always stocked their wares. In a smallish town of a strongly religious mindset, it made good business sense. If this guy was as famous as Dad claimed he was, of course The General Store would stock anything he’d written. By the looks of the almost empty display, it’d turned out to be a good gamble.

The Bad Boy's Innocent Obsession

Chapter 23: The Truth about Him Faith’s P.O.V “Here you go,” David pointed out to the isle that had all the books related to disaster management. “Try the books written by Heather Shaw and Kane Westwick, so far they are the most helpful ones you’ll find on the subject.” “Thank you so much, David,” I told him gratefully. “I’d be totally lost if you didn’t help me out here. This place is massive!”

Meant To Be HIS

Meant To Be HIS

Our counseling sessions had continued, not because there was anything wrong going on between Damien and I but because I needed answers for future issues. "We're both growing and sometimes I fear us backsliding and giving up on Christianity because of how clueless we are." I opened up to her. "The solution to this is to commit to growing. Through more time spent fellowshipping with the brethren and giving yourself to study. There are several Christian books that can guide you on your journey and the Bible is the number one book to look to. It is God's Word." She said. I nodded, "Book recommendations?" "Sure." I took out my journal and jotted down a list of books as she mentioned the names and

Really good follow on from the first book and I love how you have incorporated Christ in this book & their love story. As a growing Christian this was lovely to read, it didn’t have as much steam as the first book I can understand why but definitely drama filled.

i think this whole situation is all about perspective uk as i am a woman i can relate to Ariana b8 if i was a man i could have related to Damien...in all honesty i just love ur writing style i mean i literally feel like am having an actual conversation...And for a fact in the end it's love that wins

Meet Me Halfway

Meet Me Halfway

She whispered brokenly, “I know sweetheart, but we can trust, can’t we? We can trust that it’s there.” She wrapped her arms around him and nodded against his chest. “I guess so. That’s faith, is it not?” He remembered the verse from the Bible, ‘now faith is the assurance of things hoped, the evidence of things not seen.’ “Yes, Babygirl. Yes, it is.”

He Chose Faith. I Chose Freedom

He Chose Faith. I Chose Freedom

Theodore continued, "As for Joseph and Jessica, the Lewis family will not protect them." Dad frowned. "Are you so sure about that? Everyone knows how precious your brother is to your mother. What if she threatens you with her life? Would you let her do as she pleases?" My heart dropped, knowing that Dad was right. It was exactly the kind of manipulative act that Martha was capable of committing. I turned to Theodore anxiously, only to see a calm and sincere expression on his face. He said quietly, "My mother's tricks won't work on me. She wouldn't really dare to die."

When Dreams Become Reality

When Dreams Become Reality

Each passing day my faith and belief in God grew more assertive. The quiet had suddenly been replaced by my sister Vega, saying, "good morning Lyra. I brought one of your favorite books, and I'm going to read it to you this morning," Vega said. My essence left my body, and I hovered over Vega as she read to me—one of my favorite books, Irresistible Love by Layla Hagen. I have been trying to get her to read this book series forever. It took me being bedridden for her to break down and read it. I love Vega so much, and I don't know where I would be without her.

He shrugged his shoulders. “Why would you think that? Don’t you know that this pack in particular embraces all types of wolves?” I pointed toward his reading materials. “Ah yes, the books that were given to me to read.” He looked down not very impressed. “ I can’t say I truly believe this is how it is and it isn’t the way things have been told to me. I wonder if perhaps they were placed in my sell as a trick by say a little wolf to get me to talk?” He raised his eyebrow at me and I didn’t speak allowing him more room to speak. Something I had figured out about Gorm is liked to be the center of the room so if I was quiet enough he’d tell me things. “Although I’m not complaining I do enjoy you

"You have all kinds of books here." "Yep," he chuckled, "I have kind of eclectic tastes." "For a mountain man," she giggled, and he laughed, too. She scanned the titles, fascinated by the glimpse into his interests. At one section she stopped and picked up two, laughing out loud. "Rebecca? Far From the Maddening Crowd? I would never have put you with those books." Blake laughed lightly. "Yeah, those were Faith's." "Oh, god, I'm so sorry, I had no idea." Quickly, she shelved the books.
