“Dance with me.” I stared at her, my skin crawling where her fingers touched me. The request felt like another trap. “I don't feel like it," I said. Kiya didn't flinch. She just kept that sharp, knowing smile on her face, her hand dropping slowly from my chin. "I'm sure the Council will be interested to know how much recovery you've had ever since you turned feral. Unless, of course, you aren't too shaken to handle another turn on the floor?"

she sizzled. "Someone needs to remind Buffy of her place," Fabiola remarked a bit too loud. "My place is riding Cáel until dawn's early light," Buffy snarled. "You don't need to worry. A reminder won't be necessary." "That's not what I..." Fabiola turned on Buffy. Buffy didn't need the headache of explaining why she shoved Fabiola through one of the glass panels at the front of the building.

Hope chastised whilst braiding her sister's hair. "Oh, sorry Hope." Faith chuckled guiltily. "Are you worried about the meeting?" She asked. "A little, I guess." Faith shrugged. Today was the day she was to meet with the Hunters to try to demonstrate that humans were not under threat from vampires. She was the bargaining chip in the fight for peace. Faith was not sure what the outcome of her appearance at the meeting would be, but she was determined to do her best to prove that vampires were still vegetarians (of a sort). Faith was dressed casually in blue jeans with a cream knit jumper, and her comfy white trainers, which were slightly greying with age.
