Rebirth of the Luckiest Failure

Rebirth of the Luckiest Failure

"It is Draven. He is fine." A pause. "Of course he is," Darius said quietly. The librarian spent the next ten minutes carefully examining the fallen shelf, the scattered books, and the damaged railing. Kael helped stack the books into neat piles. Several of them had fallen open to random pages, and as he collected them, one caught his eye. He picked it up. The title on the open page read: On The Nature of Probability Manipulation in Pre-Civilization Eryndor. Kael read the first paragraph.

THE LUNA HE SWORE TO KILL

THE LUNA HE SWORE TO KILL

--- A deafening crash echoed through the palace. Everyone turned. One of the enormous pillars supporting the ceiling had split in half. Chunks of stone rained onto the battlefield. The widening rift above continued pulling pieces of the palace upward. The mountain itself was breaking apart. Lucien's face darkened. "If this continues..." "The palace will collapse," Selene finished. "And the Crown?" Eryndor looked toward the throne. "It will be buried forever." --- The Primordial Darkness stretched both arms toward the rift. "My children..." Its voice rolled through the opening.

she said, backing up. “You still don’t understand,” Eryndor murmured. “The mirror doesn’t hold you. You hold it. Your power — your blood — keeps it alive. Without you, the mirror collapses. And if it collapses…” He reached out, brushing his hand across the air. The mirrored ground beneath them began to dissolve, exposing a black void beneath. “...everything falls.” Serenya’s pulse pounded in her ears. She could feel Kaelen’s voice again — faint, distant, pleading. But it was slipping, drowned beneath Eryndor’s words.

The Mage's Heart

The Mage's Heart

“It will take most of the day to reach the shipwreck. I will lose three days to this book, but it will be worth it.” “How many books, Rivyn?” I asked him, smoothing his skin beneath the palm of my hand. “How many books until this is done?” “Six books,” he replied on a sigh. “I would prefer nine, but six is ambitious in the time frame. The book after this, is amongst the winged people of the Ekhora isles. The other two are closer to home, amongst the Dark Elves, and another a sorceress called Jiloria. And then, we’ll return to Arsiath.”

A brilliant adult fairy tale! Dark romance, fairies, sirens, mages, dragons, dark elves, mermaids, trolls, imps, spells, and quests. I loved it, an action packed adventure from beginning to end. Folk lore and fae stories truly came alive, I fell in love with the characters and got lost in the story.

The Ninth Cipher

The Ninth Cipher

"I hope these still work." The Last Editor slowly walked forward. His face remained hidden beneath the shadow of the lantern. Only his voice reached them. "Stories multiply." "Worlds multiply." "Choices multiply." "And eventually..." "...everything collapses beneath its own weight." Another drop of black ink struck the floor. A second aisle vanished. The books that had just been created from Adrian's journey faded into mist before anyone could touch them. The White Book trembled violently. Golden cracks spread across its cover. Adrian held it tightly.

Until Death

Until Death

"In the beginning, I invented the nine rings of gloom and distributed them among the selfish men. Three were given to the dwarf, and five were given to different men who were seeking more sovereignty. Ryan begins his speech. He has now returned to his previous position, and my mom is sitting beside him. The moon's casting is reflected on them, and they look flawless. If not for the certainty that they are betrayers and bloody suckers, I would gladly accept them as my parents. My team has also joined us, all of them waiting eagerly for the history they have never heard before. Not that they have any choice. Besides, we are in his region, and he could do anything he wanted to us. There are tho

Marked in the Middle

Marked in the Middle

Nora’s face, fierce, furious, alive, appeared for a split second before the light consumed it all. Evelyn’s voice echoed one last time, soft but commanding: You still have one choice left. The seam collapsed, leaving only silence and the faint glow of dying embers. Kael fell to his knees, shaking. Around him, the hollow world began to crumble. Chunks of mirror sky fell like glass rain, disintegrating before touching the ground. The void rose to swallow everything. He could let it. He could end here, let the crown die with him. But Evelyn’s words burned too deeply. Undo it.

The House of Ash and Guilt

The House of Ash and Guilt

"Eli! I curse you to die a wretched death, with no body left to bury!" So his curse really did come true. I shut my eyes, too drained to feel anything but a hollow calm. And then, something wrenched me upward. The world blurred past, wind screaming in my ears. When I opened my eyes again, I was back in the place I both knew and dreaded: home. It was December 29th. The manor was strung with gold tinsel and paper snowflakes—every corner bright with seasonal cheer. But I felt no warmth. The festive colors only burned my eyes, sharp and unsettling.

THE REJECTED LUNA’S FOUR KINGS

THE REJECTED LUNA’S FOUR KINGS

He pulled me into a kiss that tasted of blood, salt, and the long, difficult truth. "We’re still in the book, Little Bird," he whispered, his hoyuelos deeper than ever. "And it’s a messy book, Félix," I said, leaning my head on his shoulder. Nathaniel approached us, his fingerprints back, his face covered in the soot of a real, burning oil-lamp. He looked at the horizon, where the Seven Spires were glowing with a soft, autonomous light. "Emma... the trials are finished. The First King’s design is broken. But by rejecting the 'Archive', we’ve triggered the final countdown. The 150th chapter is no longer a milestone. It’s a Departure."

Dragon's Blood (Book Two)

Dragon's Blood (Book Two)

I sit up, slapping Flavius on the thigh, "Now come on, get up." Flavius jumps from my sudden attack, rubbing his leg as he sits up. A smile playfully tugs at the end of my lips. I jump from the bed, stretching my body out. Flavius turns himself onto his back and stares up at the ceiling before pulling himself from the bed. I grab two brown satchels that sit against one of the many bookshelves carved into the cave wall of my room, tossing one of the bags to Flavius. "The Horde of Fates is located in the far north. The journey will be fairly long, so pack well," I tell him.
