I get out of the car and I can feel the wind coming from the ocean.

The fighting around us has stopped by now but I don’t care. I have to try something. I don’t know what to do. “We never got to exchange a mating mark,”I mumble, brokenly. “It seems the universe was against us from the start. I wasn’t supposed to lose you.
