It struck the Queen square in the chest. The Queen staggered, Her glowing crown split down the middle. Her voice faltered. She fell to her knees. “You think this is victory?” she spat. “I will always rise.” Liolai’s hands trembled, but she stood firm. “Then I’ll always be here to stop you.” Ashen, barely conscious smiled weakly.
