The magical and technological components are separated, neutralized, held in stasis by our seal. "One!" Kael stares at the bomb in disbelief. "You did it. You actually did it." Thelma and I collapse simultaneously. Our hands slip from the bomb's surface and we fall to the floor, completely drained. I can barely breathe. Can barely think. The world is going grey at the edges.
