The Alpha chuckles “Jaz how about you come down and stop confusing your Mate” my bata and I look at one another then at my sister and we are all perplexed. I look at the Alpha “Alpha?” “Alpha Jax” “Alpha Jax, what doe you mean Mate??” the next this I know I smell apples and Carmel and a hit of chocolate, but I don’t know where the smell is coming from. Where is she… “Jaz please stop confusing the poor guy and let him see you.” I hear a giggle but the smell is getting stronger and I’m still standing in the same stop looking all around and I hear rose gigging and I hear them all laughing “what is so funny???” I’m asking while looking at the three of them and I end on rose and she points funny

The actual person underneath. Someone who hurts people without meaning to. Who makes them doubt their reality. Who leaves them broken. Is that who I'm falling for? Or is that just who he used to be? I don't know anymore. That night there's a show. I shoot it on autopilot. Not really seeing. Not really present. After, Lennon finds me backstage. "You okay? You seem off." "I'm fine." "Sloane." "I said I'm fine." He studies my face. "Something happened. What happened?"

*loading* "Ella your highness. no I am sorry I did not mean you are a royalty but maybe oh shut up Ella. For fudge sake!" Confirmed my brain is getting haywire and overloaded.. For the 3rd time I hear someone gasp. "For fudge sake!" I look at the men and staff behind him "Are you having an asthma or panic attack or something? Because there is a clinic on the 5th floor you can have a check up or nebulize or something" I saw the side of the eyes of the Fallen angel crinkled in amusement I hope. He is so close. I might hyperventilate in this close proximity. Just one more step our noses might touch.

I stuttered as the phone fell from my palm finding its way to the marbled parking lot ground. CHECK OUT BOOK TWO (THE BILLIONAIRE EX-LOVER'S REVENGE)

⸻ That Night In bed, wrapped in soft sheets and half-asleep limbs, Elena whispered into the dark: “I submitted a new series to the gallery.” Adrian’s voice was low. “Yeah?” “They want to feature it. In a permanent collection.” He smiled in the dark. “Proud of you.” “There’s more.” She hesitated. Then: “I named the series Falling Between Us.” Adrian turned toward her, fully awake now. “And why that?” “Because everything we thought was a fall…” she whispered, “turned out to be a way forward.” He kissed her forehead.

"And you never stop lying." She tilted her head. "I gave you a chance. You threw it away." I aimed the gun at her, cocking it. "This is over tonight." A sly smile rose up her mouth, "Is it?" The ground beneath my feet groaned. I had no time to move out of the way as the entire building came down. Falling into the Unknown The ground beneath us collapsed. I dangled in mid-air for a second before my body fell onto wreckage. Agony burst in every direction as I rolled blindly in the dark.

Shaking I nodded trying not to anger him any more. “Now take off your underwear.” He stepped back giving me a bit of room and I was relieved some of the pressure was gone. “Take it off now or I will rip it off.” I slowly moved my shaking hands to my underwear and push it down stepping out of it. I felt him push up on me again and rub my ass. “Well, I have to say this is a beautiful ass. I don’t know if it’s billion dollar worth but beautiful.” I tried to think of anything but him touching me and drifted off as he continued to rub my ass I just cringed against the wall. Then I felt his hand up go up to the snaps on my bra and I felt the release as the straps fell to my shoulders.

"Hmm, so you're antisocial?" Vanessa thought about it for a moment, as though she did not know what she was. She shrugged. "I wouldn't say antisocial though. I just find fictional characters more tolerable. Relatable. So, I spend a lot of time reading novels. What about you? Tell me something about you and then we call it even." "Nope. Not telling. I'll rather show you." Vanessa squeezed her face. "What?" "Well," Jake started and cleared his throat. "I do a lot of reading myself and I'm something of a writer. Show, don't tell, my critics always warned. Well, I'm following their warning this time. So, yeah, I'll rather show you."

I sighed in relief when I heard the unmistakable growl of Nathan and knew they were almost here. My friends were fighting a good fight, but they were outnumbered, with the rogues pushing them back in their desperate attempts to get closer to me. I backed away, grabbing a chair to use as a weapon as I stepped closer to the wall to get away from them. Instead of hitting the wall as I expected, I backed into a person. I froze as I felt something jab me in the neck. Not again was my last thought before I blacked out. Nathan’s point of view

She was on the highest on all the airships that were above the Falling Stardust Island that lived within the clouds. This was a recent phenomenon created by the Falling Stardust that had the entire continent talking. The 10 floating cities above the Falling Stardust island. They floated above each other like stacked plates. The barrier surrounding each airship joined with the barrier protecting the Island below and created one large barrier that stretched thousands of feet up into the clouds.
