For a second, I couldn’t breathe. Couldn’t move. Couldn’t think.

Their lycanthropy differed from others, standing taller and ten times stronger, resembling humans more closely. Her eyes widened in raw fear. She must have heard the rumors spreading about me. She blinked rapidly, she seemed focused on something else. A calculated look crossed her eyes briefly.

This was torture—sweet torture, but torture none the less. “Your stamina really is low.” Diego murmurs, sitting the remote to my underwear on the bedside table. “I’m going to have to make you start working out to keep up with me.” “Keep up.” I squeak, understanding what he meant. “I’m a lycan, princess.” He murmurs, giving a grin. “My stamina is twice that of a normal man.” Eyes widening, I try not to imagine just how long he can go.
