Before I knew it my eyes started drooping and I slowly closed them, thinking about how life would be if I was the heroine in the book. I started imagining the heroine's dragon as Kieran. I imagined what his dragon form would be like. Most likely black which matched his dark hair, and powerful. His muscles only hinted at the kind of strength he would have in his dragon form. Like the heroine's story, I started thinking about how Kieran would rescue me from an awful fate.

A father as terrifying as Baba, a mother as cowardly as Mama, and a sister as sweet as Cara. A tear slipped from the corner of her eyes as she wrote down the characters’ goals. She only wanted one thing, maybe two. Taking a deep breath, she tapped a key on her keyboard. This was her story, and she would write herself a happy ending. Hana wrote until her fingers went numb. But somehow, she couldn’t get herself to stop. It was so easy to picture every scene and change the settings from contemporary to fantasy. To watch Kyle, a dragon rider in her story, burn down the men who tried to harm her with his dragon. She named it K.

She looked at him with those cool bottomless black eyes looking like a true ice queen, or rather the queen of darkness with that black mane around her shoulders. He had never been into writing fantasies but sometimes as he spent his time with her he felt like he could try his hand in it just to get the chance to make her into a character like that. That's how much she drew his curiosity and enticed his mind...

She had thought then, as she had walked with the little girl into the castle, the man leading the way. He had paused in his movements as he had gotten to a huge door in one of the many passageways she had seen in the beautiful white castle, decorated with bands and colors of gold at some sections. She had thought that it was the most beautiful building she had ever seen. She had thought it heaven!
