The Moon Calls
I giggled, “Is that why you look like that?”
“Like what?”
“Like you have a stick up your ass?” He gave me a quizzical look. “A what?”
“It’s an analogy.” I shrugged, “Anyway, I don’t have enough time to go into the city to get room decorations, so, this is what I can do for now. Plus, you can sometimes find cool stuff.”
“Like the grass rug?” He asked, making me laugh. “Yeah, like the grass rug.”
Alexander and I looked through the racks of furnishings for a while until we moved to the furniture portion. “Why must you get the most atrocious-looking things?” Alexander asked as I sat in a brown lazy boy recliner. “Atrocious? I think it has character?”
