A solid stone wall stretched from the floor all the way to the high ceiling. It was covered in a thick, gray layer of cobwebs and dirt. Lucius raised his arm and used the sleeve of his jacket to wipe a large circle of grime away from the stone. He stepped back and shined the bright flashlight directly onto the cleared space. It wasn't just a blank wall. It was a mural, painted in faded, deep colors that somehow survived the damp air. I stared at the images carved into the rock. On the left side, a black dragon and a silver wolf crouched low to the ground.

"I imagine a hidden army would have made considerably more sense of everything I've spent the past year doing. Come inside. If you're going to ask the questions I can see forming behind your eyes, we might as well have the conversation somewhere I can offer you tea instead of a fight." Soft, plush carpeting in a vibrant shade of sky blue stretched from wall to wall, offering a comfortable landing pad for her many adventures. One entire wall was dedicated to a whimsical forest mural. Lush green trees with brightly colored leaves stretched towards the ceiling, while playful cartoon animals peeked out from behind them. A playful monkey swung from a painted vine, a friendly elephant trumpeted a greeting, and a pair of mischievous squirrels chased each other through the undergrowth.

“Fantasy?” Came the uncertain inquiry through the bullhorn that sounded out loudly amongst the hustle and bustle of the crowded pier. Raising my hand I picked up my duffel bag and began making my way forward. As I walked the men about me stared. They always stared. It was kind of nice and yet annoying at the same time. It didn’t help that my Russian born mother so enamored with her relocation to a new and in her eyes, ‘fantasy land’ of America had named me as such.

Everyone was dumbfounded, and they were so amazed that they did not recover their senses even after a long time. Caspian was also extremely stunned because these murals were not only huge, exquisite, and vivid, but the materials used in the paintings were all rare natural treasures that contained the essence of the world. The walls were covered in murals. They stretched from floor to ceiling, hundreds of feet in every direction, painted in colors that should have faded millennia ago. Every other panel of the walls held stained glass murals portraying each creature in existence that reflected vivid colors around the area giving it a technicolor glow. The whole scene before Danica had a fairytale feel and she was having a hard time believing she wasn't dreaming.
