Chapter 2 .... Myst's Point of View A sunny and cloudy sky floating above this summertime of the year, heat radiating everything in sight. Birds chirping and chatting with one another on the tree branches while the cool breeze sways the green bountiful leaves. Plants looking all radiant too. Nature gives a fresh and calming feeling out here. As for all the townspeople, the adults are doing all different household chores, and the children playing along altogether with their friends. Everything seems so lively and joyful this day.

In contrast, the dark queen is obsessed with power and conquest, and cares little for the well-being of her people. I closed my eyes and took a leap of faith, stepping into the swirling portal. It felt like I was falling endlessly through a void, with no sense of time or space. Suddenly, I felt a solid ground beneath my feet, and I opened my eyes to find myself standing on the roof of a massive, colourful hut. I looked around in awe, taking in the strange new world around me. This couldn't possibly be the human realm I had heard so much about. It was more like a fantasy realm out of a fairy tale.

The air inside was thick with power, a hum of energy that sent shivers down my spine. As we entered the dark realm, I braced myself for an endless void, for a world without light. But instead, we were greeted by a strange sight—there was illumination here, a soft glow from the swirling skies above that bathed the land in hues of violet and deep red. The terrain was rich with bizarre, otherworldly flora that seemed to thrive in the strange light. It wasn’t a barren wasteland, as I’d imagined, but a place that seemed... too alive.

I did my world building in the fantasy realm. The modern world is the same as ours but I created a fantasy world myself. We didn’t get to explore more of it in this books and barely saw some glimpses of it. Blood Bound has more detail of the realm of magic and I guess a full introduction to the magical world would come in a book based in that realm. There is a book I want to write about it. In Between a lycan and a wolf we got to see magic spirits though, I didn’t get to introduce them in Blood Bound
