Chapter 4

Before noon came, we finally arrived at the capital city of the kingdom of Lheda that implies happiness. We came by the use of a limousine as the travel vehicle used by all nobles, which makes my friends noble themselves. Brylle is the son of the Duke and Rhyme is the son of the Marques in this kingdom.

The three of us are sitting inside altogether, with the chauffeur of course. Both of them sitting on the opposite side while I face them. The inside is cool because of the air conditioner, but it's not too cold.

Well, this limousine is owned by Brylle's family, and both Rhyme and I receive a ride this time. Rhyme has his limousine but choose to stay with us because he said it is much more convenient and fun to go all together on one ride. Brylle didn't mind and so do I, after all, I'm just getting a free ride myself. So all is fine.

As we passed the ample streets to the capital, modern and contemporary building structures slowly came into view and the trees lessen from the sight. There are some old fashion houses but they are still beautifully designed and strongly built. Also, high towers and spacious buildings are present making the city undeniably rich. But green leaves from trees are fully lacking here because multiple building structures occupied the entire territory.

From few, it becomes to multiple crowds of people passing by, filled every corner of every part of this humble but large nation. The city seems so busy like it always do and very boisterous too. All kinds of stalls are lining up on the sidelines which is selling different kinds of things. In here, you can find anything that you're looking for especially in terms of the high quality of smooth silks and perfume stocks. Other kingdoms go here for these specific products because our kingdom of Lheda is where the best producers having a high quality silks and perfumes.

The capital is where all people of any statures can meet up and join together with no worries nor prejudice to one another. They can freely go buy and sell different types of things, especially in the trade markets. And so many situations can happen in here anytime with all of these people.  So, to secure everyone's safety and security, well-trained guards are stationed at every gate and entrance of every corner of the city walls. To take diligent actions in case something bad might happen.

We stopped at the center of the city, the Grand Healing Fountain. It is one of the most popular places in our kingdom. It is what its name itself implies. The water flowing out from the fountain can heal anything but can not bring back anything to life and only in some particular times it can take effects because it is said to be only blessed by the heavens in most sacred moments. Only when the water turns blue and glows can it have the power to heal and right now it is still crystal clear.

Right at this moment, the sun is almost reaching its peak that's why the temperature is increasing every minute which is unexpectedly very uncomfortable for me. My breathing slowly becoming short, but I need to keep calm. I don't want them to worry about me.

"So where do we go this time?" I ask them both, but my voice comes off hoarse. Maybe because of the heat. Both of them look at me worried. Why can't my voice go along with me?

"Hey, are you okay?" Rhyme asks worry visible on his face. While Brylle looks at me intently with furrow brows, he's anxious.

"I-I'm f-fine don't w-worry about me," I assured them with a smile. I don't want to ruin this trip, we waited for weeks to have fun together. But my voice is killing me and my body is not cooperating either. I can hardly breathe now. Just what is happening to me? Why do I feel a lot uncomfortable, is it because of the heat?

"Why to don't–" Before Rhyme could finish what he was about to say he looked at me horrified and Brylle too frozen. I stopped and touched my nose because I felt something wet dripping from it.

Red... Undoubtedly It's blood. Just great.

I wiped it out using my sleeves and so it got stained. Oh well, I'll just wash it later after I go home.

"Don't worry about me. It will dry out after a sec." I said nonchalantly but my voice is still hoarse. And continue wiping it but it's not stopping at all. It's dripping continually. Now my sleeves have many red stains on them.

"NO. You're not fine! Damn It! Rhyme go call for the doctor right away! Hurry!" Brylle exclaimed angrily while Rhyme quickly did as he's told running away in some direction.

Suddenly I slowly felt my legs shaking and becoming weak and my eyesight becoming hazy. Brylle holds my shoulders firmly before I completely slumped down onto the ground. Then he carried me up in bridal style and he immediately walks towards the near shade cottage. He slowly put me down on the bench then he sits next to me. He holds me near him, I leaned my head on his shoulder. He's shaking slightly, he must be nervous.

"I-it's o-okay. Don't mind it t-too much B-brylle, it's normal having n-nosebleed you know?" I started stuttering, my voice is hoarse. Now I'm feeling more bad because of this.

"I-i knows but... It's not normal for you to weaken so much. Just hang in there they will arrive soon." Heisig his voice is undoubtedly full of worry and he's anxiously holding me for dear life.

Minutes after, Rhyme came with a middle-aged doctor holding a huge medic bag while both of them are sweating a lot and panting heavily. It seems they run all their way here. I sighed because it makes me feel bad for the trouble and bother that I caused.
