The Fatal Judgement

The Fatal Judgement

The soul mage's hands trembled above the control panel. "My lord. Her soul core is past the critical threshold. If we go any deeper, it won't fracture. It will collapse. She'll be gone." The entire hall held its breath. Lucian stood at the center of the platform. He stared at the cracking soul shadow on the screen — the web of hairline fractures spreading outward from my soul core like ice breaking under too much weight. His face gave nothing away. He said nothing.

The Banished Luna: She Was Meant To Rule

The Banished Luna: She Was Meant To Rule

“We’re just negotiating better than you anticipated. Soon we’ll be unkillable while controlling all werewolf deaths. Perfect evolution authority.” I’m trying to fix the exploit but I’m realizing my mistake—I built negotiable death in forty-eight hours under pressure, and there are flaws I can’t patch without rebuilding the entire system. Which would require shutting it down temporarily. Which would kill everyone currently relying on structured death. I’m trapped maintaining a flawed system while Shepherds exploit it. “Help!” I call out to anyone who can hear me in eternal space. “The Shepherds are corrupting negotiable death from within!”

A FATED MISTAKE

A FATED MISTAKE

My father continued to drone on about how important it was for me to pick a chosen mate at tonight's banquet. I wanted to shout at him and tell him that he wasn't the Alpha anymore, but I knew the rumors spreading around the pack were getting to him. Rumors that the moon goddess had cursed our family -- First, my father lost his mate to another, and now his son is seemingly mateless. While it was rare for a wolf to still be mateless by the time they turned twenty-five, it was unheard of for an Alpha wolf to be mateless. Alpha Wolves had the most exposure to other packs; we were more likely than any other wolf to meet their mate.

Imperfections of a Royal

Imperfections of a Royal

I couldn’t deny it, that I did start to like someone, but I loved Angelo more and I’d choose him over anyone else any time of the day. “I-I’m sorry…Angelo…if I made you think that way,” I apologized, covering my face with my hands. I couldn’t imagine how Angelo can remain calm and understanding despite all this. He knew that our relationship would not end well and he knew that one of us had to make the decision, the sacrifice. He felt that I was fading away. He felt that I was falling in love with someone else- and I couldn’t defend myself. There was nothing to defend. I was found out and I am ashamed.

The Fatal Favor

The Fatal Favor

He pulled me close and vowed, "I'll love you for the rest of my life, Evelyn. I'll never see you as less." I really did believe him back then. At 25, he wins the pack war again and emerges as the strongest Alpha. But he turns our mate bond into a joke. At the celebration dinner, during a thoughtless game of Truth or Dare with his secretary, Mia Sadler, he speaks across the mind-link to everyone. "Evelyn, you're painfully dull. You're not the least bit appealing, your scent is thin, and you can't even bear a pup. You're just dead weight. I wish you'd never been saved back then. I wish you'd died."

It's My Fault

It's My Fault

"Eve, I'm sorry for missing our date. Regardless of my excuse, you must have waited a long, long time for me. That's my fault. To be honest, I knew it was you the moment you added me with your anonymous account. That's because I've seen you logging into that account in the library. "I was surprised when you asked me if I'd like to have that kind of video chat with you. It was hard to imagine you doing something like that because you seemed so well-behaved. I couldn't help but feel happy when I learned that I was the first person you asked to do it. I knew you weren't a girl who often found pleasure using such methods. You only did it to find out how I felt about you."

Fractured

Fractured

Too much. “You call it a defect,” Deacon says coldly. “But all I see is a strong young woman, full of compassion and deserving of a future. Why should she pay for your mistakes? For someone who didn’t want to take responsibility for what he created from the start.” “I tried!” Elias snarls, a flash of his temper breaking through. “I tried everything to stop it from spreading. I thought if I could end the mutation at the source, the bloodline would end, taking the gifts with it. I warned the youngest in the line what would happen. I begged him not to procreate, but he turned on me. He trapped me and kept me sedated for years. I lost control, and the line continued. When I finally escaped and t

Started reading this book two days ago, and damnnnnnn!! It’s such a breath of fresh air NOT knowing what’s going to happen next. I love how original this book is. Sadly, I’m all caught up so far, can’t wait for it to be complete, definitely a book I’d reread many times! <3

I started reading last night and I love it so far! really original, love the spicy scenes and Josie is a lot of fun. I'm used to reading stories where the pov shifts, but I'm enjoying only reading things from one pov. it keeps you guessing a bit more. great read! highly recommend it

Ava

Ava

The system was flawed but that was because it was full of ignorance and separation. "The system is flawed because it is run by egomaniacs who think nothing about throwing children into Isolation so they can mess with their minds. It's flawed because the Council has absolute power that has corrupted them to the core," Mr Patrick said. "It is flawed because they can select anyone here to do their dirty work, whether they want to or not. Do not give yourself to them, Ava."

Rejected Outcast: Chased by the Lycan

Rejected Outcast: Chased by the Lycan

“I’m gonna assume you agree then, Beowulf. It truly is nice to see you have a good head on those shoulders.” “I wouldn’t exactly say that, mayor,” I corrected, fixing myself up of any wrinkles I have on my suit. “You see, there are two flaws to your condition.” “What flaws would they be? We’re talking about giving up a worthless woman who can’t do her job right to my son who- for one reason or another- fancies her. I’m being generous with this one.”

Broken.

Broken.

I wish to make them both wished they were dead than to be alive and suffer my torment. I noticed I was becoming too bitter, angry and resentful. I've never wished my enemies misfortune before, neither have I laughed at someone else's misfortune because I've been there, I knew what I'd feel like, but right now all I deeply wished for was to see them both burn to the ground. I wanted so bad to snap their necks whenever I remembered or took a glance at them, I wanted to end their lives at any cost. It was this rage that made me loose guard and refused to focus on the important things in front of me.
