A soft light pulsed, and an intricate mark appeared—mirroring the same symbol that had once been on the legendary spear. The mark on the woman’s skin spread, glowing across her forehead. “I am you, and you are me. We are one, Trinity. The spear, you, and me—we are Fates.” Charlene’s pulse pounded in her ears. “What?! Maeve’s POV Maybe I was just overthinking and maybe he really did have something waiting for me, some sort of surprise. Something, anything Who was I kidding? He had forgotten and it tore deep at my heart I can't believe that he forgot my birthday and our anniversary… How could he forget? I whisper. Caden nods, pleased. I’m relieved. Tim may be annoying, but I don’t want him to die over something so stupid. As Caden walks past me, he trails his fingers along mine. Then he leans down and kisses my temple. “Just a little while longer, and I’ll never have to watch you walk away again.” I close my eyes as he walks out. I gather myself, then follow. Mum watches me closely, reading my aura. I take another sip of tequila and throw on my mask. No one from school will ever see me as anything but the future Luna. Morgan was thrown by this development since faeries did not have predestined mates. However, Selene encouraged him to chase it, and now Morgan and his mate live in a house on the island.

He just laughs and closes the door of his car. Looking at the crowd he was now curious why they are circulating that place. "What is happening in here?" Oliver asked the bystander to know something. "They said that Lewis Morgan of the Morgan Company is dating someone" 'Woah, that is some information to know' Oliver nodded his head and asked another question. I answer her nervously. "Wow, it's beautiful. You're so pretty." She says with a cute smile showing off her dimples. "Hi I'm Lexi..." She reaches her arm out and I grab it giving her a handshake. "Are you new here?" She asks. "Yes I am.. I'm Morgana.." I say to her with a light smile. "Oh, Well, welcome to Baxton High. The best high school in town. You made a good choice coming here. We have the best food and the best teachers and the best boys too..." She says with a grin showing off her perfectly white teeth.

I was resolute in exposing myself to new experiences and, perhaps, Find my Fated mate in the future. "Someone is all dressed up to impress," Luna Emily said, and I smiled. She picked me, with her Mercedes Benz. "I have to admit, you're managing this Monica mess quite peacefully. They might have let Jack move on if she weren't an Alpha's daughter," she said, sounding frustrated, and I chuckled. "I don't think Jack could've forgotten her. He attempted to resist, but the attraction was overwhelming," I said, exhaling deeply. She pinched me. "Well, at least he put in some effort. Mine didn't. He claimed and had sex with her right away," she said, with a smile.

It was like a fire burning deep inside, threatening to tear him apart. “Are you sure?” Alex’s voice was low, rough, and filled with the weight of his emotions. Morgana didn’t answer immediately. She only nodded, her eyes filled with a sadness that mirrored his own. “I wish there were another way, Alex. But fate is a cruel mistress.” Alex stood up abruptly, his fists clenched at his sides. He couldn’t breathe, couldn’t think. He couldn’t accept this. “She’s mine,” he muttered through gritted teeth, the words coming out with a desperation he hadn’t known he was capable of.
