It was nobody’s business. “What is confusing is that nobody has experienced the pull of the fated mate bond in over 20 years, since the onset of the Fated Plague. There have been no documented mate bonds other than chosen bonds.” Dr. Richard said, pulling me from my thoughts. “Daya… we need you to be honest. Do you have a fated mate?” He asked plainly. Can I lie? Clearly, my fated mate is around this pack and doesn’t care about me. He never tried to find me and now he is having sex with other women to torture me.

It took less than a minute for the Alpha couple to take the hint, and with laughter and a lot of love, they phased into their wolves, and the race was on to see who could make it home first. It solidified the connection between the soul’s halves, reuniting it into one. The practice used to be common, but it faded out over time.
