It moved with unnatural intelligence, screaming in a chorus of stolen voices. “You cannot have them!” it roared. “They belong to the Rage!”

To her, that was enough evidence to blow up inside the restaurant. Fuchsia’s eyes widened when she saw Purple’s furious glare. Fear was evident in her expression. “Ah-big sis?” she stammered. “Don’t call me ‘big sis’! We’re equally beautiful!” Purple shouted. She approached Fuchsia and pointed at her. “Who do you think you are, trying to fool my brother?” “You have another guy, Kaye?” Fuchsia’s companion asked, confused. Tears ran down his face.
