I Didn’t Mean to Divorce You

I Didn’t Mean to Divorce You

Chapter 56–Daniel’s POV The first thing I felt was fear. Not the kind that makes you scream or run, but the kind that settles deep in your chest and turns your blood cold. The kind that reminds you that no matter how long you’ve lived, no matter how much power you think you control, there are still moments capable of undoing you. The video was still playing. Laura’s phone trembled slightly in her hand, though she didn’t seem to realize it. Her eyes were fixed on the screen, wide, unblinking, absorbing every second of what unfolded before us.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Then Lily felt fear creeping into her chest. God. The real fear. Fair. The terrifying fear. Reasonable. The what-if fear. God. What if they couldn't get out? Fair. What if nobody found them? Reasonable honestly. What if— God. No. Fair. No. Reasonable. She couldn't think like that. God. Not now. Fair. Not with Peanut watching her. Reasonable honestly. Then something happened. God. Something small. Fair. Something strange. Reasonable. Peanut pointed.

NeNe Eugene
10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Tiffany's Desire

Tiffany's Desire

"The weather is good today, good for a picnic and swimming, what do you think?" "It's good for seeing the movies, not picnic." I answered coolly. "Movies, you say. Well, what movie? I mean what kind." I thought of one random movie I knew she hadn't watched, it was a slasher movie. "What about Scream?" "Ooh, that movie! I've watched the last season but not the new one." "You should watch it." I said, not caring to give anymore details. Just when I thought she would leave, she mustered the courage to voice her deepest fear - Her words hung in her throat, heavy with uncertainty and vulnerability.

Terrifying

Terrifying

It seemed that their performance tonight would get them a lot of comments and bully from CreepyHells Channel fans. After leaving the house, they got back into the car and drove straight home. On the way, Luna looked back several times while continuing to feel uncomfortable. "Hey, what's going on?" asked Elly. "I feel like something is following us." "Who?" Sean who was driving was curious as he looked in the rearview mirror, but the road was empty and there was no one else but them. "I don't know. I just feel like... there's something wrong." Luna felt a bit nervous, and suddenly.... "Sean, watch out!"

Affair With My my Ex's Billionaire Father

Affair With My my Ex's Billionaire Father

I ignored it. I collapsed into the armchair by the fireplace, curled my knees to my chest, and stared at nothing. My palms still trembled. My insides still ached, not from the bleeding, not anymore, but from something deeper. Something primal. Terrifying. I was afraid of him. Afraid of what he might do next. Afraid of what he already had. A screen lit up without warning. It was propped on the table across from where I sat, flickering with grainy footage. At first, I thought it was security. Another of Milo’s paranoia-induced recordings.

Two Wolves, One Omega

“What do you want us to watch?” Fiona asked, looking up from her laptop. “Romance, drama, horror, thriller? What kind of stuff do you like?” I shrugged. “I can’t even remember the last time I watched a movie.” “Anything is fine, maybe horror,” I added after a pause. Something scary might help take my mind off Kellan and stop me from overthinking everything. Fiona nodded and turned back to her laptop, searching for something to play. I focused on my food, slowly chewing, trying to stay present with her and for a few peaceful minutes, it worked.

Owned By the Man She Fears

Owned By the Man She Fears

“Oh, don’t worry. He’s not dead.” The room stilled. “It’s only a sedative.” Rafael’s gaze shifted, landing on Seren. “I wouldn’t want blood spilled tonight, especially not in front of my future wife.” Seren froze. Her grip tightened around her utensils. Her hands trembled, though she tried desperately to hide it. But Rafael saw. He saw the fear in her eyes. She wanted to scream. To tell him to stop. But no sound came out. All she could feel was fear. Fear of him. And in that moment, Seren understood something she had been trying to deny.

We’re Divorcing, Alpha (On Live TV)

We’re Divorcing, Alpha (On Live TV)

My heart is going crazy as I watch people on the screen yelling and fleeing in every direction, but I can't actually see anything happening—no rogues, no visible threat, just the loud chaos of a crowd that has decided something is very wrong and is acting accordingly. It's the fear that spreads fastest, always. The thing itself comes second. Kael is out of his seat before I've fully processed what's happening.

Fear, Control or Love?

Fear, Control or Love?

" P-Please open the door. I-I think there is something here. " Dylan was casually sitting in his room staring at the computer. He was watching the camera feed of the room Aiden was now in. It was a night vision camera, so he could see it even though the room was dark. The room was his Mom's dance studio. It had many speakers installed, and Dylan was playing the hissing sounds to scare Aiden. The sound effects were so good that Aiden could not tell the difference between real and fake. Dylan knew about Aiden's fear of insects and rats, so he decided to use it against him.
