February First Reads Novels & Stories

As she read his letter, she popped a grape into her mouth and let the words sink in. The letter read: Hello Beautiful, I’m sorry for the delay. Believe me, it’s far from ideal. I miss you terribly and long for the moment when I can hold you in my arms again. I yearn for your enchanting smile, your intoxicating scent, and the comforting presence of your body beside mine as I fall asleep and wake up each day. I’m doing everything I can to expedite this meeting, and I’ll inform you of the new date as soon as it’s set. We will be reunited before you know it. I know patience is hard, but please hang in there. I love you more than words can express and will be eagerly awaiting your next letter.

“Yes, yes, let me see what we have here. Ah, there it is.” Stan climbs onto one of the library ladders that extends to the top of the stacks. After looking for a few moments, he pulls out a thick, heavy tome with the title, “Wolves: Myths and Legends” engraved in silver script against the brown leather cover. The pages are edged in gilt. He carefully descends the ladder and gives it to me. “This is what immediately sprang to mind when I got the call from Dr. Tawny. There is a passage in chapter seven that talks about the magic of twins.”

1* it's a humble request for all my readers to read this book in February 2023 as it's not an edited and totally trash version. This book is on hold because by mistake i upload a wrong story which is so bad that you won't be able to understand. I am editing it and after re-writing it totally, i will myself re-upload it here. If you still give your coin to this book then it would be a waste of money so don't do it. You can read it in february.

It was the first comfort I’d felt in days. I closed my eyes, basking in the warmth of the sun that bathed the room. The light was soothing, calming the chaos in my mind. But then, just as quickly as it came, the warmth vanished, replaced by a cold shadow that loomed over me. My heart raced, and I knew, without looking, who it was. Slowly, I opened my eyes. The Alpha stood above me, his silver-grey eyes locked onto mine. He raised an eyebrow, watching me intently. His expression was unreadable—somewhere between amusement and fury.

Nicole looked at the clock in the room and said, “I’m kind of in a hurry so I’ll make my story brief and comprehensive. After breaking your heart, I owe you an explanation my darling Muhammad.” Muhammad tried switching on the radio on his belt, in hope that anyone on the other end could listen to the conversation if the signal was restored. If Maryam and he were going to die tonight, their death might as well not be in vain. The most important thing was revealing the real identity of The First One.

Chapter 14 Lyra Saturday arrived, and so did February, the so-called month of love. While couples everywhere were making plans for romantic dinners and weekend getaways, my only romance was with the paycheck I’d received the day before. It was small—just two weeks’ wages—but it was mine, and the pride of earning it made me feel unstoppable.

“Picture this,” Cynthia says, bright and sunshiny. Is the sun even up yet? “I make my coffee and sit down to read Harbinger News to catch up on things for the day.” That wakes me up a little more. “Did something happen?” “First thing I see is an opinion article on one Miles Hampton, essentially saying how great he is.” Already?! I’m fully awake now, and abruptly sit upright in my bed. Do they check those forms at night? How in the world could it have such a fast turnaround?

“February 14, is also known as Valentine’s Day.” “This isn’t what I want.” I frowned as I rephrased my search bar, “Valentine’s Day Novel.” I searched through the paperback and my eyes narrowed even more because I couldn’t find the book I was looking for. “These people are so fucking useless.” I snapped as I rephrased my search bar again, “Valentine’s Day Novel by Guillotine.” Your search does not exist. “What the fuck is going on?” I asked and in anger, I threw the phone across the room it landed on the wall and shattered into pieces.

At that moment it started to snow, Rose’s favorite season. It was the first snow. Her favorite day of the year. Rosalie had always loved the snow, but her love for the season grew because the snow had led her to meet Hakeem. They would’ve been in their little cottage, celebrating their first baby together. The snow would’ve been the icing on the cake as they enjoyed each other's company. When Hakeem finally looked at her with trembling lips, unable to speak, her heart broke all over again. But, she knew she’d take the bullet all over again.

I pulled the blanket off me and got up to study the other books. “I don’t think that was what he meant at all.” I felt Fynn looking at me and a shiver ran down my spine, but I wasn’t going to give him the satisfaction of looking at him. Pulling another book from the shelf, I walked back and settled under the blanket again. “January 18th, 1801” I started to read out loud.
