I'm standing at his bedroom door swooning at the way Valentine is patiently reading to Marvel while Marvel stops him every other second to ask a new question. He never gets frustrated or angry. Valentine just smiles, listens intently, and answers to the best of his ability. I'm trying not to laugh while Valentine explains how a toaster works. Marvel saw a picture of a toaster in the background of the page in the book, and decided he couldn't go on reading until he knew how it works. Each answer Valentine gives him raises more questions for Marvel, but instead of getting mad, he just continues answering with a smile on his face. They decide to watch the movie The Brave Little Toaster together

The doctor looked visibly startled when he saw me in the hospital room. Not long ago, I had come to him for a prenatal checkup and asked how to ensure my baby's health. "I'm sorry. Unfortunately, the child couldn't be saved," he said, his voice tinged with pity and sympathy. "Should we inform the father? Strange, it's Valentine's Day, and he's not here with you. Was there something urgent?" Oddly, I felt nothing. Just an eerie calm.

Lola cleared her throat catching their attention. “Um… Master Valentine, I was thinking to take girls out at noon for some shopping. It's been months since they last went out. If you agree, we are in desperate need of fresh air.” The old lady requested and Valerie's ears instantly perked up. The morose gently left her features and a cloud of excitement hovered on her head. Watching the sudden happiness on his sister’s face, Valentine failed to say no, so he nodded. Valerie immediately squealed in excitement and threw her fist in the air. Harman jumped from his seat as well and looked at his watch.

Her eyes watered slightly, a huge grin on her glowing face. "Happy Valentine's day bestie." Bryan handed Maeve hers, making it work in one trip. "Thanks papi." She kissed his cheek. "Happy Valentine's day cousin." Raymond handed Tiana her gifts. "Thanks cousin." She pulled him into a hug. "Happy Valentine's day everyone." Jack and Tim shared their own gifts to the ladies, while he held on to Teq's. "Thank you." The ladies responded with hugs. "Happy Valentine's day mami." Storm showed Teq her gifts seeing as he couldn't move them all in a minimum of three trips.

I said and Chloe smiled "You really like this guy , don't you?" "I don't know" I shook my head "You missed him when he stopped bothering you , waking up every 2 a.m everyday because you remembered every moment that you spend with him in this time and the fact that you only see him Val.. you like this guy" "I guess" "Love isn't about one person fighting alone Valentine , it's about 2 people. If there's only one person who fights.. there will be time for them to give up"

I could hear my ringing tone blasting from the other end of the room, how far did I drop it last night? It was Nathan who was calling me, I frowned as my eyes combated the caller ID, and I was unable to answer the phone call. I remember Travis said something about Guillotine, if I remember correctly, Guillotine is the author of the book Valentine’s Day. I picked up my phone and surfed through the internet. “Valentine’s Day,” I said aloud as I typed it into the search bar, it took a few seconds to load, and when the information came. “February 14, is also known as Valentine’s Day.”

“Have a seat, Leilah.” Colby assisted me in the seat in front of this Blake guy while he took the seat beside him. There were folders on the table and Blake is drinking wine. “Leilah, this is my adoptive brother, Blake Valentino. Blake, this is my biological sister, Leilah Rivera.” Colby introduced us. Blake reached out his hand. “Nice to meet you, Ms. Rivera.” His voice is sultry and wispy. It sounded like sea waves crashing inside my ears.

"What, what? What part did you not hear? It's Valentine's day. Go spend time with your mate." His eye widens. "Valentine's day?" "Yeah, maybe you heard of it. Hearts, chocolates, baby angels shooting arrows at your ass, you know... love." I even make little fluttering motions with my hands to get it through his thick head. "I lost track of the days. She made dinner... Fuck." Without another word, he picks up his keys and sprints out of the room. "Love you too, Bronxy!" I call out as his footsteps pound down the hallway.
