February First Reads Novels & Stories

February arrives in two parts. The first part is the cold. The January cold is honest and expected. February cold is personal. It has been doing this for weeks now and has decided to make it specific, targeting coats and faces and the particular exposed strip of skin between scarf and collar that no one ever adequately protects. The city moves through it with the practiced resignation of people who have been here before and know it ends eventually. The second part is the fourteenth. The documentary releases on the fourteenth, and the days between the first of February and the fourteenth have a specific quality of time that contains something significant at its end. Not anxious. Just weighted

Something popped up in the screen of my computer and it is an email so I opened it and it is from the secretary saying that we have a meeting exactly 10:00 am. I still have two hours left so I read all the papers beside me and the usual thing I do. The time passed by and I am only reading and I heard someone called the line and Mr. Flynn is the one who answered the call. “Hello? I remembered that no one knows what are his real name and his face in this company except me.

Cassie - After reading the first couple of sentences, I have to stop, go back and reread it carefully. I am incredibly surprised by what I am seeing written on the page. I carefully close the book, Using my finger as a bookmark so as not to lose the page Alpha wants me to read from, so that I can look at the front cover and I see it is a relatively standard, plain black-leather covered book with no image or writing on the front, but when I decide to check the spine, which is also blank, I see it is well worn, which means it has been opened and closed many times in the past. I open the book again and flip back to the first page of the book deciding to read the inscription handwritten there in

November asked you to be accurate. February was different. February was the month of hidden preparation. The branch tips held their buds — not yet open, not yet the green of March or the committed fullness of April, but present, the decision made below the visible surface, the energy gathered, the thing becoming before anyone could see the becoming. February said: trust what you cannot yet see.

The days passed by in a blur and soon it was Monday as I get ready for the first day of my senior year. I haven't felt this happy and laughed so much in years. It felt nice and lovely. I never wanted this feeling to go away, I wanted it to remain in my heart forever.

I want to experience playing against the best department when it comes to futsal. That's why I'm just wiping my shorts because my palm is getting wet from nervousness. I also noticed that my teammates were nervous, but compared to me, they looked better. They've been playing before, unlike me. So I'm not surprised that I'm the one with the most breasts here. I tried to breathe deeply to somehow calm myself down. When I did that, we heard the referee's seven. We quickly went to the center to prepare. In the first minutes the match was hot. Both our teams make mistakes probably because of the tension. The ball is often out and sometimes grabbed by each other. That's why the first half ended wi

And the Fey finding care for a small Shifter. Sonya ended up reading Cinderella to Katie, giving me a chance to return all the kids to their beds, getting their dinner and letting their families visit. They were permitted at any hour, but the pups liked to not be disturbed during Reading Time. Frankie and his mum, Josie, were curled up on his bed, she was helping him eat while his dad, Guy, patted his sons head, a small smile on his face as Frank and Josie laughed.

And Nina didn't know why her chest was throbbing so violently, she also lost her attention to what she was reading and remembered her last conversation with Argus. But she also immediately erased the suspicion that started building her system and she would still trust Argus no matter what. Soleil's eyes dropped to the book on her lap, and her eyebrows met. "The Moon Goddess and the wolf." Soleil reads the title of the book she is reading. "I didn't know you were fond of that kind of genre, miss Nina." "And guess what, Soleil.
