~Elena~ "Welcome, my future Luna." The words barely had time to settle before Crystal stiffened like she’d been struck. The air froze. Then— "Excuse me?" she snapped, voice like a blade, sharp and cold. Trevor turned, unreadable, but Crystal was already seething. "I am the future Luna," she spat, her fingers digging into Ryan’s arm like claws. "Not her." Her gaze burned into Trevor’s, daring him to challenge her. Daring him to argue.

Soon she’d be destroyed. Just as we were supposed to give the signal to start the abduction, her friend Arabella exited the building and greeted her. Beta Carlos froze. “What are you waiting for?” I snapped. “We need to postpone the operation. She’s not alone,” he said. “What? We can take this poor human with us too,” I replied sternly. “She’s a human, but she’s the Luna of Riverland,” he said. “Luna of a small, insignificant pack. Take them both now,” I barked, losing my patience.

Scott’s Point of View The morning starts like most others, early and cold. "I know for a fact that you are not the Luna. You are not Evelyn." A forced laugh escaped my lips. "Are you out of your mind, Beta? Look at me. I have her face. I have her silver hair. I have her voice. I look exactly like the Luna, and yet you stand here insisting that I am not her. Are you feeling well?" Lucas didn't answer right away. He moved toward me, standing so close I could feel the intense, radiant heat coming off his body. We were far enough away that we could continue to our territory line. “We are two minutes out.” I linked Nathan and Justin. “Is the Luna with you?” Nathan asked, causing Rollo to growl deeply. “The Luna was taken.
