The Return of the War Legate

The Return of the War Legate

"If I become the monarch, what about you? Are you going to become my strategist by name and my puppet master in reality? Is that what you wish to do? Or do you wish to have your name tarnished for eternity?" Crystal believed there was not a single person who did not desire fame and power, especially someone like Draco. "You seem to have a misconception about Draco, but I hope you won’t misjudge me. You and I have the same dream, and that's for Novemton to be at peace. Once you've stabilized your position as the monarch, I’ll retire from the scene, never to reemerge." "Why should I believe you? Step aside, I haven't got time for this." Crystal pushed Adrian away and headed for the canteen. He

Rebirth: The Dark Sorceress

Rebirth: The Dark Sorceress

She was the strongest witch from her clan, and I was her powerful hybrid child, until they came. The witch who had prepared the Anthurium must have known who I was, and surely had enough grudge against me and my mother to go to that lengths. To perform such a strong potion, a sorcerer must be willing to sacrifice a decade worth of their power - for a decade they will have no power and be unable to conjure up spells and someone had willingly done that in exchange for our death. I was going to find that person, and I was going to make death the easy way out for them. I flung the dead squirrel as far as I could, and with the back of my hand, I wiped my mouth before turning slowly to Damon. A wh

Something within me felt complete. “No, no, don’t stop please.” I said, shaking my head at her as a smile formed on my lips. “I truly was interested in hearing your speech.” “How?” She asked, frowning in confusion as I looked at Crystal whose eyes turned blue as they were. The power that she had inflicted on her dying down as the ground beneath her feet, using my own power, sucked out the darkness. “Dragon, attack.” Crystal didn’t respond to her demand before she walked toward me, lowering her head as she asked for forgiveness. “I said, attack, dragon!”

Really enjoyed the book but it’s a pity that in the beginning that there were bits of conversation between Ares and Blake in the beginning but then suddenly nothing at all at some point. I like reading the conversation between wolf and its human.

I like it so far though there are some details that are missing and I feel like it's rushed at some points or the feelings aren't expressed enough but good English and writing and good plots although I'm not sure if why mason's mate slit her wrists was mentioned? because that don't make sense

Hayle Coven Novels

New hope joined with the old, a spark so pure I struggled to move, to take what he offered, my mind unable to accept maybe, just maybe, we'd won after all. And that the crystal before me held the life I thought I lost. White power flared, a figure moving with frightening speed toward the smiling sorcerer, a hand lashing toward my crystal. I cried out in fear, longing making me more afraid than the sight of Alison, her ghostly face pinched in fury, trying to take what was mine. Demetrius spun, gestured. And the two crystals came together in her face. A giant spark leaped from the two as they clinked together, flying from their glowing surfaces to land on Alison's chest.

Where the magic hit, her skin repaired itself before our eyes. Hellion ran a hand over her hair, his touch as gentle as the look in his eyes. "I hope she hasn't poisoned you against me, niece. You are destined for more than an ignoble death at the hands of lesser beings than Directs. You are meant to shine." With his last word, the motes flared to bright golden life. Her eyes opened as she took her first breath. Gold mingled with the pure silver mercury of her eyes as power flooded her.

I mutter through clenched teeth. Elora’s head tilts slightly, violet eyes narrowing. Her demeanor shifts, a subtle change that I barely detect in time. “To break the curse, you must do more than complete tasks and collect…objects.” “What do you want?” I snap, repeating myself. “Dearest Ezra,” Elora’s fingers skim along my jawline, nails scratching at the scruff. “It’s simple, really. You must get the princess to fall in love with you—truly and deeply in love.”

Alpha of Alphas - The Lycan's Impossible Mate

As always, the witches used me as their conduit, concentrating our magic into one big ball of energy so we could break through the deadly spells and safely make our way to the crystal. I hate the vampires’ magic. The darkness of it. Every time I have to channel it, it eats away at me like a leech, draining my positive energy. “Can we just destroy it?” Alfred asks. “No,” I say, as I hover my hand over the crystal. “You’ll trap the souls inside.” “What?” Tully asks. “They’re inside the crystal?” “Some, yes.” “How is that even possible?”

This book is truly fascinating. I am loving the emotional and dark story line! In my opinion, I feel you learn a great deal about the current and past prejudices w/in and out of the supernatural community, and how the MCs fight these prejudices within themselves and with others. Great work!!!

INTO THE WILDERNESS: The Journey

“The fate of Misthereal World rests in the palm of your hand; that stone which you’ve found can save the world, or eliminate it; as the powers of light and darkness wreak vengeance, the gemstone waits to be awakened in your hands… when the hidden wand was found.” “I c-can’t live a life like this. DARK MYSTERIES

DARK MYSTERIES

Annabelle read it out: “ Luke, the most powerful vampire to exist. He is known by many names. The lord of darkness. The symbol of abomination. The epitome of destruction. But one thing is very clear, he was never born as a vampire. Rather, he was born human. A servant to be precise. The story goes back when he served at a plantation alongside his friend. The two young men did not like their status and the burden of servitude. As much as they hated their lives, they each had different views towards their master. While his friend wanted to be among the elites and high class, Luke wanted to rule them. And so when rumors of a warlock spread in the town and came to pass, Luke and his

The Dragon Queen's Alpha Mate

“Doc I need you to please get a sedative ready. As soon as I burn out the dark magic he will start to burn and will shift in self-defence.” Doctor Silas nodded and did exactly what she had ordered. He stood back giving her room to work, the injection ready. Muscles tense as he waited poised on the edge as he watched her approach the still figure on the operating table. Crystal began to glow as she reached the table, she sent a trickle of power into his body. Immediately she felt the backlash of the dark magic flaring out towards her.
