Their Dark Fantasy
“Hopefully Fenrik was there to settle your desires.”
I gasped, stretching my mind to all the conversations they must have had. But something else crossed my thoughts. The expression of his eyes when he complimented Fenrik.
They dulled, like a knife that had been smashed against stone. He was glad, but not all too happy. There was sadness in his face.
He got up to leave, his eyes fixated on me, breathing in-between each strike. He swallowed a lump of saliva, before blinking for a second.
“The vervain is still in your system,” he said, caressing my cheeks with the back of his hand. “If you ever need to fulfil your desires,” he paused and stared at me passionately. “You come to me.”
