Find Me A Book To Read Novels & Stories

I wanted to read, to do something that reminded me of normalcy. I looked at my growing shelf of books and decided to pick Pride and Prejudice. It was one of my favorite books as I was a sucker for romance novels. I flipped to the first page and began. "It is a truth, universally acknowledged, that a man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."

I said, grinning from teeth to teeth like a child. We walked into the library. It looked like it had been a while, since it was in use. We went through several sections which included, finance, self-improvement, ethics, business amongst all. I caught a glimpse of a book I had been wanting to read, “Atomic Habits” by James Clear. I picked it immediately, and started going through it. After a while, I noticed I wasn't hearing any sound from the cook. I looked around and found her wiping tears off her eyes with the hem of her apron.

I need to take time. I remember the small room I entered last time. I slowly opened the door and turned on the lampshade. The books on the table were still scattered. I tried to look and read each one of them. These are all interesting books. Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and a lot more. I tried to find something that might help me, but I found nothing.

I have already started creating my second book in my series, and I am extremely excited to share it with you when the time is right. She points a playful finger at me, her smile kind. Taking the hint, I retreat to the living room, feeling slightly rebuffed but understanding her concern. Not really in the mood for TV, I wander over to the massive bookcase and pull out “Emma” by Jane Austen, I've been wanting to read it since I finished “Pride and Prejudice” but we didn’t have it at the Beta’s house, and our school library didn’t stock it either. Feeling a little spark of joy at my small find, I curl up on the sofa to start reading, letting the quiet of the room wrap around me like a comforting blanket.

he said and smiled. I just slightly nooded at him. "There's no use of covering it. Just order something for me. I'm hungry. I haven't had breakfast yet. Also, get Colleen Hoover's 'It ends with us' book for me, please. " Many people say that the book is a sad story, so I will try it. I really like novels with a sad theme. Maybe because I've experienced sadness and pain in my life, that's why I have the same taste when it comes to books.

I need regency rakes; mafia psychopaths; sweet, burly bakers in small towns. I need to read about someone getting it on, for god's sake. Lord knows that won't be happening in my real life. I mean, sure, if I really wanted to, I could go find myself a guy on campus–but the very thought jangles all my insides and makes my gut lurch. No. I want Ambrose. Only Ambrose. So I huff loudly and turn the page of my book. "What are you reading?" A weight settles onto the sofa by my feet. I crane my head up, blinking at the girl peering at my book.

I plop down on the sofa when I didn't find anything appealing to read in his bookshelf. “Didn't find anything appealing?" He asked. I rest my head back. “Yeah. You have boring books." I mutter. I should leave. I will be getting bored and nothing else. “What type of books do you like?" He asked. I look at him with my head resting back. “Fiction." I answered. He grabs his phone and calls someone. “John, I want you to get a bunch of the latest fiction books and the most famous one as soon as possible. And remove the books from my bookshelf to arrange those in it."

I say. "Sure thing." She stands up from the dining table and walks out. In my bedroom, I sit on my bed thinking about almost everything. "Sitting here feeling depressed won't help me in anyway," I say out loud and head downstairs to grab a book from my dad's shelves. I choose one that I've never read before, one that's about the first world war. Yeah, pretty boring but, I need something to put me to sleep very fast. Without wasting time, I'm back in my room in a jiffy and change into my tiny shorts and tank top. I lie down on my bed and start reading.
