I stop at my door, slide the key in, and ignore his last comment—otherwise, my response might be a punch to his face.
“Great seeing you as always, Flav. Tell Aunt Frieda I said hi,” I say, opening the door. “I’d invite you in, but I’ve got things to do.”
“Is that any way to treat your favorite cousin?” I sigh, holding the door.
“What do you want, Flavio?”
“I want you to join this new deal with me. We’d run merch from state to state.”
“By ‘merch,’ you mean guns?”
