Just think, a week ago, I didn’t even know about Sun Moon pack, and now, I’m a member along with finding my mate. My smile widens as I lean down and gently kiss the top of my mate’s head. Finn’s eyes slowly flutter open, and I’m, once again, caught in his mesmerizing brown eyes. I softly chime, “Good morning, my cute bunny.” Various shades of pink instantly color his cheeks as he whines, “Owen. Stop that.” He lightly slaps my chest, causing a series of tingles to erupt and then spread throughout my body.

Finn isn’t fazed by the scrutiny, and I’m not surprised given his job as a cop. “Oh, I have all the goods, a few incriminating photos too and am very willing to share.” Finn laughs, pulling his phone from his back pocket and bringing up a bunch of embarrassing photos of me. The first one is from when we went to have a picnic at the park and got rained on. When we were running to the car with all our stuff I tripped and ended up face first in a mud puddle. The photo is of me standing there, face and body so covered in mud all you can see are my eyes. “Oh dear, you poor thing.” GeGe laughs as she looks at the phone, giggling away. “I would love a copy of that one please.”

The world was thick with it, everything speaking at once if you knew how to sort it. And then there was Finn’s cologne. I caught it again the moment the air shifted wrong, that bright synthetic stink he sometimes wore as if he thought drowning himself in bottled arrogance made him more attractive rather than merely more obvious. It sat over everything else like a lie. Wrong for the setting. Wrong for the dark. Wrong for a hunt. It irritated me so immediately I almost laughed, because of course Finn would come tracking Red Maw smelling like a nightclub with delusions of grandeur.

Then he rolled over to the edge of the bed, making me bounce all over again as I adjusted my red silk top back down. From feeling brave and ready for anything, the whiskey had turned against me.

“Oh—was I? I thought it was a clean tissue.” “The bin is over there.” Marcello pointed. Without waiting, he leaned forward and plucked the tissue from Finn’s hand, walking it over and dropping it into the rubbish bin with decisive finality. Finn stared at the bin. Inside, something cracked quietly. He straightened, adjusted his cuffs, and forced himself to smile again. “Right. Very tidy of you.” Regaining his composure, he reached into his pocket and produced a small, brightly coloured whistle. “How about this, then? Something to play with.”

He pouted, melting my heart because he looked so adorable that I wanted to kiss those puckering lips. “You’re supposed to be busy today, but you canceled your appointments just because I wasn’t around. What if I didn’t want to come back and work for you?” I hissed. Finn looked like he had stopped breathing and stared at me with puppy eyes, forwarding his lower lip as he pursed his lips and pretended to cry. “Stop looking like a cute puppy,” I growled, standing up and turning around to place the food containers in the sink. I heard his chair moving, and a second later, he was standing beside me, helping me wash the food container. Not exactly helping… he only put dishwashing soap on his hands

This was a substantial amount for her. Tammy walked to the underwear section with embarrassment and bought a pair of underwear for Finn. When she returned to Finn’s side, she tossed the underwear to his body. “Take it.” Finn checked the price—26 bucks. He exclaimed in displeasure, "I’ve never worn something this cheap. Hey, will there be excessive chemical substances in it? Will it affect fertility?"

He said. "To hell with your apology. Tomorrow you take me to a club and toss me to a bouncer just to satiate your excitement," I told him. Finn reluctantly sat on the edge of my bed, unzipped his trousers and pulled out his staff. "What are you doing, Finn?" I gestured, clearly not understanding him. "Watching you rant turns me on. I want to suck on those areolas, bite and tease your nipples till you moan for me," his hand encircled his staff, sliding up and down his rod.
