My Stepbrother, My Mate

My Stepbrother, My Mate

“They’re the source.” I frowned. “The source of what?” Fiona stepped forward now, slow and deliberate. “Of us. Of all of us.” She knelt, brushing her fingers across the wet earth with a reverence that bordered on sacred, as if the soil cradled not just roots and bones, but secrets too ancient for the wind to carry. Her touch was gentle, almost yearning, like she was greeting a forgotten god who once ruled the stars and now slumbered beneath the crust of a dying world.

He Hunts, I Haunt

He Hunts, I Haunt

[I agree with the comment above. How would someone like a god ever fall for an ordinary person?] - The fire in the forest kept spreading. The ragdoll and I were terrified it would draw even more players, so we decided to move somewhere else to scare people. According to the system map, there was a small wooden cabin about two miles to the east. New players always passed through that area when they entered the dungeon, so weaker monsters were supposed to lie in wait there. We followed the map for over an hour, but still ended up lost.

The Phantom Reaper

The Phantom Reaper

He doesn’t ever leave his little fortress of perceived safety and just seems to be taking quiet walks by himself through the gardens. Once the sun dips behind the mountains, allowing the darkness of night to consume the world, I head back to the Underworld. I make my way back to one of my safehouses, drop my assassin outfit in a locked chest under the floorboard, then discretely leave as Tiffany Baxter, the cute, shy, quiet lady with the green eyes, short stature, and platinum blonde hair dressed in casual clothing with tennis shoes. I go to the house I mainly reside at as Tiffany, which is quite a shithole, but it keeps the rain that leaks through the ceiling of the underground out. I spend

The Haunting of Thomas Gardens

The Haunting of Thomas Gardens

“This is my mother. You can show yourselves to her. She doesn’t scare easy.” Cynthia watched stunned as first the faces then the features started to appear, crouching on the wall next to Brian, as if seeking protection from him. She gaped at the obvious similarities between her youngest two sons and the apparitions in front of her. The fear in their eyes quickly turned mischievous as Brian put the tray down on the wall. She could sense the pounce before they did.

Haunted

Haunted

A low growl was heard by Stella and the same was heard by Benjamin but both thought it was just their illusion. Stella ignored her inner voice and continued to talk to Lima. But then something strange happened frightening everyone. Tehran was once upon a time called Hamster the city where Princess Veronica ruled. It was past twelve in the night. The power was down and there were no street lights glowing. Benjamin and Stella were passing through the road of the mansion Princess Veronica had locked long years ago. The street was completely dark and dead silent but suddenly strange voices were heard from the mansion. "Come on release me. Come here.... please...." There was a desperate growling

Rise Of The Broken Luna

Rise Of The Broken Luna

That meant… “They moved,” I muttered. James stepped in beside me. “That’s outside the previous zones.” “It’s not outside the pattern though,” Fiona said quietly. “Another ritual ground,” I said. Ivy’s paw tightened slightly against the table. That was all the confirmation I needed. My chest tightened as the meaning sank in. Celina was there, in the ritual ground where they were planning to sacrifice the girls. We didn’t have the time to wait anymore. “So what do we do now?” Fiona asked.

Fated To My Twin Brother

Fated To My Twin Brother

Winter’s breath caught as she stopped suddenly. “You sense that?” she muttered. Hadzen’s muscles tensed as he gave a firm nod. “There’s something here.” The ground underneath them shook abruptly. As roots surged up from the ground, writhing like snakes, Sonia let out a cry. A thick vine swung out, barely missing Winter, but Hadzen caught her and pulled her back. “Get moving!” Hadzen yelled.

Let’s Divorce. Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice.

Let’s Divorce. Mrs. Wright Is Done Playing Nice.

Fiona was thrown out of Hernandez Group by Jack’s people. Standing at the entrance, she still couldn’t process what had just happened. One hand pressed against her bleeding forehead as she stood in the cold wind. The blood seeping out was clearly warm. But to her, it felt ice cold. Why? She kept asking herself that. Stella was the one who had a lover in Eirden. So why had Felix nearly killed her instead? With one hand covering her forehead, Fiona tremblingly pulled out her phone and called Dora.

I am enjoying the book so far just started it. But if I were to play a drinking game for every time it is mentioned that Stella is an orphan I’d be long dead. Seriously we get it she was an orphan with no parents etc etc

WARNING..DON’T EVEN START READING IT!! The first few chapters are good, but then the author loses the plot, making the story go around in circles with no forward movement and dragging it out with unnecessary scenes. 5 stars are for it being the most boring story

Witch Among Wolves - The Alpha's Enemy Bride

Witch Among Wolves - The Alpha's Enemy Bride

“She was my family. Before any of this. If she’s alive—” “If,” Fyre interrupts. “And if she’s not, you still carry her. That’s magic too.” Ffion arrives the next morning. Not a dream, not a shadow, but real—limping, braid ragged, her face half-hidden in a scarf. The entire packhouse goes silent as she enters the garden. Thalia drops her trowel, mouth dry. “Ffion?” Ffion shrugs, smile all sharp teeth. “Were you expecting a ghost?”

The Rise, The last Queen

The Rise, The last Queen

Renci stood and said, "Can't be so cold, Mr. O.Renci," "Hana, I wish I had more power," O.Renci said helplessly. Hana turned and kicked the door hard and left forcefully. Henry was still following behind her; Hana's footsteps stopped behind the dorm. "Henry," Hana called. "Under these luxurious castles, there is a cellar. Fiona was killed by someone and locked up at the bottom. I think Claura is locked up there, and who is the culprit, we need to find Claura today, and we will know. But if we delay, I'm worried that Claura will be in danger,"
