The Mafia Virgin Captive

The Mafia Virgin Captive

The red emergency lights began to flash in the corners of the ceiling, turning the beautiful marble foyer into a dark, bloody chamber of alarms. I walked out the front doors, the cool morning air hitting my bare chest. The mountain was waking up, but it wasn't waking up to the sun. It was waking up to lead and gunpowder. ROSALINA P.O.V I slammed the heavy wooden bedroom door shut and turned the key, my breath coming in short, panicked gasps. The loud W000-W000 of the red sirens was echoing through the walls, making my ears ring. The red lights were flashing outside the bedroom windows, cutting through the gray morning fog.

Ex-husband’s Regret: Revenge So Sweet

Ex-husband’s Regret: Revenge So Sweet

“It’s already past the time they picked. If not for their persistence on meeting only with me… and the fact that they insisted it be here, to sightsee the condo… I would’ve just let Michael, my business rep, handle it.” I trail off, my voice drifting. That’s when I hear it. A soft sound. A footstep—light but intentional—just beyond the door. My brows pinch. I turn slowly. Smoke curls beneath the door, thin and winding like a serpent, slipping across the floor in a slow, ominous crawl. Then the fire alarm explodes—shrill and deafening. Red lights begin to strobe above, flashing in harsh, rhythmic bursts that slice through the stillness. My heart drops.

Haven’t gotten far in the book. But if Alexander and Bel don’t discover that everything is a lie and get back together I will be so mad. Both were drugged and set up. Absolutely no reason to make them be enemies by the end. If that is the plan then this story should have been set up differently.

I waited till the end to drop a comment, and I’m glad I did. Author, you did so well. I was a bit confused at some point, but you tied everything together beautifully. This is a solid 10/10. I’ll miss the characters, especially Roy. Thank you for this amazing story. I’m looking forward to more works

My Triplets' Daddy Is A Heartless Mafia

My Triplets' Daddy Is A Heartless Mafia

"Why is this part red, Rain?" "There seems to be something under the ground, but I don't know what. Maybe mines? All we need to watch out for are these green dots. I think this is some sort of distress alarm, which will emit a signal every few minutes and may make a sound if anyone stepped on the sensor." "They flash alternately, that means there's a set rhythm so no one gets through to the end?" Flower asked. "Yes. But I can arrange where all the signals will break at the same time and we can get through. If we stay in any area of the ground while the signals are moving, we won't get caught."

No Longer Yours, Ex Husband

No Longer Yours, Ex Husband

“Just wait and watch, darling. And get ready to pay me more for making your life so much easier.” He winks before strolling off, his confidence irritatingly unshakable. He better not screw this up. Moments later, the shrill wail of the fire alarm pierces through the halls, sudden and jarring. Red lights flash overhead as a robotic voice chimes in over the hospital intercom. "Attention: Fire alarm activated. Please evacuate the premises immediately." I smirk despite myself. Clever bastard. Inside the hospital room, the doctors and nurses stiffen in alarm. One of them glances toward the door, hesitation flickering across her face.

Cursed With Three Mates

Cursed With Three Mates

Using this confusion to my advantage, I moved around quickly, rendering them unconscious with my swift moves. ‘Beep! Beep! The shrill sound was followed by a high-pitched ring, and the glass doors slid shut. F***! How did the alarms get activated? I had made sure that none of them could press any button. The beeping red light caught my attention. The voice sensors must have gotten activated when they shouted in fear. My gaze drifted from the locked door to the screens. It would probably take the guards a couple of minutes to reach here. I had to look through as much footage as possible before they arrived.

"You do that, wolf. Now come on. We've lingered long enough. I'm surprised we haven't been called out for loitering. It's almost lights out." Turning to face the other way, they began their prisoner march, entering a zone under surveillance. Or not. "This is odd," Stu said, a frown between his brows as he stared up at the camera. No red light flashed. "The camera in this hall is dead." Patricia peeked to where he pointed. "How can you tell?" "This model has a blinking red light to show when they're functioning. It's an easy way to spot when maintenance is required, or if they go offline, especially in places where the cameras don't always have someone manning them."

BOUND TO A HYBRID - DEADLY OBSESSION

BOUND TO A HYBRID - DEADLY OBSESSION

Redd. Avoided 14 missed call was good enough to tell him that I needed no disturbance. He sent along an alarm signal as well since the phone I was using was bugged by the secret house, so every call came with a signal. It was showing red this time around, which was a sign of emergency, but what emergency could there be?? I scowled, cursing under my breath as I looked at my phone, which was now blank. I had drifted into a deep sleep afterwards...

Mates: Regrets and Redemption

Mates: Regrets and Redemption

My guardians, who are more contrast to my wolf, were quiet. Beep! Beep! Beep! “What the hell’s that?” I gulped with rising panic. It was an alarm sound, but for what? I peeped over the pilot seat, shielding my eyes from the glaring sunlight, and saw two red blinking lights on the dash. The radar warning receiver picked up emissions that an enemy had us on missile locked. Shit! Here come the missiles. -

"Don't you touch her. Ezra, anytime now." "Done," Ezra said. He hit the final button. Sirens blared through the mansion. Red lights flashed. Then smoke poured from the vents, thick and gray, filling the hallway fast. Coughs broke out everywhere. "Fire alarm," a guard yelled. "False trigger?" Ezra grinned through the haze. "Not false. Controlled. Smoke only. No real fire. But enough to clear the halls. Jax, go. Now." Jax broke from the line and grabbed my hand tight. "Come on, Avery. Woods behind the estate. We run."

No Escape from the Billionaire’s Contract

No Escape from the Billionaire’s Contract

A sharp, piercing alarm shattered the quiet. It wasn't a phone. It wasn't a computer notification. It was a deep, systemic groan from the building itself. The entire east wing suddenly blazed with a pulse of deep, aggressive red light that swept through the corridor like a flare, flooding the polished concrete gallery in a furious crimson tide. Zariel spun around, nearly dropping her mug.
