Before taking another step , my phone rings again. Ping! Irritatedly , I pull my phone out of my back pocket and unlock it. Him : I need money for my uber , go wait by entrance 5 and keep the money ready.

I need your attention. I need to know that I matter to you, just once. Why can’t you see me the way I see you? Why can’t you care? Every time you pull away, every time you don’t look at me, it pulls me deeper into this. I need you to notice. I need you to feel it too. But you don’t. And I don’t know how much longer I can take it.
