MARRYING HER ENEMY

MARRYING HER ENEMY

John had looked at her with real concern—and a hint of pity—in his eyes. They had left then and it was the first time Akari had ever been on a ship. It was an Imperial-class cruiser. Big enough to take them anywhere they wanted to go and with enough fire power to defend itself against pretty much anything out there, should anyone be stupid enough to attack the Prince of Werewolves, royal heir to the throne—who was now her husband. It was so surreal she couldn’t wrap her mind around it. When she tried, everything in her head seemed to shut down, so she packed it all away and decided to think about it later. The only way she could stop a total brain tilt was by focusing on the ship around her.

Navy's Sons: Bullied by Quadruplet Stepbrothers

Navy's Sons: Bullied by Quadruplet Stepbrothers

Her manic gaze fixes me in place. “Emery Aldair is commander of Kaelara Naval Station, the highest rank in the navy,” she continues, voice low and venomous. “He controls the coast guards. He could destroy a ship the size of Yoseff Beckett’s yacht and make it look like a minor accident. A small boat? He could capsize it with a flick. He could call it a mistake, and his men would follow. Half the navy are werewolves loyal to him. He can do anything.”

It has a height of 4 to 5,000 kilometers and width of 50 kilometers from the front point and 6,000 kilometers at the end. The ship has seven mega thrusters and ten medium thrusters equally distributed on both sides next to the mega thrusters. Some of the officers were confused while others were just patiently waiting for the announcement. Canan and Onimura were at the front of the line and were waiting for Diana and the other commanders to exit the tent. The announcement was supposed to be given yesterday but it was delayed due to unknown reasons (but it was actually postponed because Knight was still unconscious and just recovered yesterday). "Are you sure that the announcement will happen

The Billionaire's First Glance

The Billionaire's First Glance

I gave the driver the instructions, and then we all boarded the catamaran. “Wow, this is fancy,” Amelie exclaimed. “Only the best for you, kitten,” I advised. “We have the whole vessel to ourselves as well.” “Hey, everyone, my name is Cousin Jake. I’m the first mate here on the catamaran,” a tanned blonde man spoke. “Hi, Cousin Jake,” everyone responded. “Excellent, we have a responsive group today,” Jake laughed. “I’d like to welcome you and let you know exactly what we’re going to be doing today. Our captain today is Akoni. Everyone, say hi to Cousin Akoni.”

Before love Lies

Before love Lies

he said slowly, “…we have a problem.” ⸻ John Edison – POV (Queensland) The ocean stretched endlessly beyond the cliffs. Calm. Deceptive. I stood still, eyes locked on the horizon. “Sam,” I said quietly. A pause. Then— Sam responded. “Advanced vessel detected.” “Designation: USS Gerald Ramsey.” A smirk touched my lips. “Adam…” A beat. “That’s what they’re calling it, right?” “Yes.” A pause. “Primary control system: artificial intelligence—designation Adam.”

Dragon-kissed

Next to it was a small galley stocked with meat, eggs, flour, sugar, rice, lard, dried fruit, coffee, milk, barrels of water and rum and other supplies. Aki was more than happy to sling her hammock in the crow’s-nest high up on the ship’s mast. She kept mum about her intent to keep an eye out especially when they passed by the eastern continent, right before crossing the equator. She knew Imperial search parties would still be out looking for her. Because of her perch, Sasha saw fit to make her officer of the watch and lent her, with a great deal of reluctance, the speculum spyglass.

His Brother's Ruin

His Brother's Ruin

They reached the deck together to find the crew gathered at the rail, pointing toward the horizon where two ships emerged from the morning haze sleek, fast, flying colors that made Kaelan's blood run cold. Imperial Navy. "They've found us." His first mate, Davin, appeared at his elbow, face grim. "Fast ships, Commander. We can't outrun them, not in these winds." Kaelan's mind raced through options: fight, flee, negotiate. None of them is good. The Navy ships would be fully crewed, well-armed, and acting on orders from the Succession Council. If they'd already seen Liam's photographs, if they already believed the worst

The Billionaire's Insignificant Wife

The Billionaire's Insignificant Wife

Lights along its hull glowed softly, reflecting on the calm sea. The ship was far bigger than she'd imagined. "Is that the ship?" Alina asked quietly. Adrian followed her gaze. "Yes. That's the one that'll take you." The SUV stopped not far from the foot of the pier. The door opened. The night air hit Alina's face at once—cold, salty, mixed with the soft crash of waves against the dock pilings. Adrian got out first, then helped Alina out. The moment her feet touched the wooden planks of the pier, Alina could see the ship's form more clearly. Not an ordinary yacht. Three visible decks, large windows with drawn curtains, and a small flag fluttering gently on the main mast—an emblem she didn't

It's abuse, after abuse, no justice, nothing. I just hope that this is NOT one of those stories with endless chapters. it's becoming boring! Beside they know that the husband is powerfull and capable of anything, THEY SHOULD THINK AHEAD!
Ashleigh Bell
Brilliant book. Captivating and heartbreaking. As a mother, it really hits the feels, as a woman it angers me so much, and as a human I just want it to end but in the best way. I highly recommend this book and I am looking forward to the conclusion
