Felix stuttered as he watched Ruth gracefully gather the skirts of her wedding gown and exited via a small door behind the pulpit.
He couldn't believe his eyes.

“You wanted Florence Ellington. Well, here she is. Alive and well.” She took a small step closer and locked eyes with Felix. “I’m Jonathan Ellington’s first daughter. Florence. Or, as you’ve known me for all these years… Wren.”
