Marrying the Mafia's Daughter

Marrying the Mafia's Daughter

“I had high hopes for you, but you disappointed your father. You were reckless and stupid and slept with a married man. You didn’t even know what care and love meant, and after you were gone for months, you came to me five months pregnant. Don’t blame your miserable life and poor choices on the poor, innocent child. She’s been through enough and all of that because you caused her so much pain.” “What do you want from my wife, Florence?” She lifted her chin. “I just wanted to meet her.” “Why now? Why not before when she didn’t have a mother at her first school recital? On her first time having a period? I’m your last to get out of here without being dragged into a van. Terzo is still in town,

Tricky Fate: In Love With My Bully

Tricky Fate: In Love With My Bully

Locating the source of the crash wouldn't be too much of a hassle seeing it was my house and the moment I stepped foot in the living room,I knew exactly who was responsible. *Florence* If I thought I'd been mad before coming down here then I was greatly mistaken. I let my eyes take a good glance at the sight in front of me. Pieces of broken ceramic were strewn all around, just a bit far off from the entrance, and standing next to the crime scene just like the criminal she was, was Florence. It took me a while to figure out which one of the vases she had shattered, and the moment I recollected the memory, a new prpfound wave of rage washed over me.

Love against the rules

He was rubbing his shoulders dry when he heard a soft knock. “Who is it?” “It’s me,” Florence’s voice came through, low and almost hesitant. “Come in,” he said. She stepped inside wearing a matching pajama set—soft shorts and a loose top, her nipples standing and obvious with the dangling breast under the loose big top. Her hair was down, framing her face, and her eyes carried a vulnerability she hadn’t seen in weeks. “I’m sorry,” she kneeled and she began, her voice trembling. “I shouldn’t have called your son a murderer, not when you were defending him. I overreacted.”

She had wanted to pressure Zach before, and this time, she seized the opportunity when he was intoxicated. Penny used her connections to find Florence's phone number. However, Florence was unwilling to release Zach. "Ms. Penny, Zach wants to stay with me. He signed with an unknown company, so what's wrong with him coming to seek refuge with me?" I’m officially done with this book. I can’t even remember the names of all the characters. What happened to the doctor looking for the long lost heiress? Instead of adding unnecessary characters why not finish one plot and move on. I wish everyone would stop reading this book maybe author would fini

Destined To Be Yours

Destined To Be Yours

Florence squirmed in her seat as she tried to read the book but she felt as if Lisa , the housekeeper, was judging her. Well, how could anyone not? Everyone knew that this marriage was not out of love including the staff in the house. Lisa had hardly seen Florence and Tristan talking together and the old lady must be pitying the young soul that was trapped in this penthouse. Florence does nothing except sitting in the library or cooking in the kitchen. The lady would often give her looks filled with sympathy and Florence didn't know how to tell her that she didn't need her pity , so she just let her be.

The Alpha King's Mistress

The Alpha King's Mistress

She didn't deserve it" It was Percival's son, stepping forward with a brashness that reminded me uncomfortably of myself at his age. Percival shot him a warning look. "Sit down, Quinn" “But Dad—” “Quinn” With a clenched fist, Quinn sat down, brows deeply pinched together. I sighed, “To answer your question, yes, Florence was locked in the dungeon” With a clenched fist and a scowl, Quinn reluctantly complied. "Yes," I sighed, addressing Quinn's question, "Florence is currently confined to the dungeon." His defiance flared again as he shot up, fists clenched. "You rotten—"

The Azure Moon Series - Complete Collection

The Azure Moon Series - Complete Collection

Both kings sobbed. Florence’s breathing slows and becomes shallower. I walked away. I can’t watch. “Move.” a girl’s voice shouts. “Lottie, I’m going to need a power boost.” I turn around and see Caren place her hands on Florence. Lottie places her hands on top of Carens. “Please work. Don’t let her die. Please, goddess, don’t let her die.” I watch as Florence is about to stop breathing. “She shouldn’t die like this. She protected you.” Tears fill my eyes, she shouldn’t have been there. As I am wiping my eyes, I hear a small cough.

This is not right. I read all the individual books until the war in the palace when the wolf council are defeated. Now that I am re reading, I have to pay again for the chapters that has already been paid. You also cut off Nik's story in the middle and made the half as book 4. official complain.

Once An Overlooked Housewife, Now A Queen Of Fortune

Once An Overlooked Housewife, Now A Queen Of Fortune

Felix said sarcastically, seeing Ruth's face quirk with a confident smirk “But let’s assume you are actually Florence Ellington. May I ask why you have decided to break your decade of silence now? You’ve been gone for years. Why did you approach me when you know I’m publicly committed to Charlotte? So what, I’m supposed to just leave her and move to you instead?” Ruth, playing Florence, uncrossed her legs and sighed softly. “You’re asking the right questions. I like that. So how about I answer them in the right order?”

Independence Is a Good Look On Her

Independence Is a Good Look On Her

Nelly responded, “I'm still the Garrison family's daughter in the public eye. Tomorrow, I'll need you both to explain that today was just a misunderstanding." Fiona scoffed. "So, you think you can just keep playing the role of Mrs. Cooper while holding onto your fancy status and family name? Florence Wolcott, do you think I'm a fool? Or do you think you're the smartest person in the world?" Florence Wolcott was Nelly's actual name. When Fiona attended a charity event in Valesbury, she had saved a young girl—barely three years old—at the border. After taking the child to the police station, she was told that the girl's parents had been killed in a violent clash. With no family left, the autho

This is a good book. I enjoyed reading it. It’s been a week now with no new chapters. At least end the book with an ending instead of just left it hanging. It’s getting more interesting & I know the readers would like to continue reading it. You know the feeling without closure, no satisfaction.......

The Tale Not Old As Time

The Tale Not Old As Time

Florence knew that it was going to be easy money. “Five years. Just five years,” Florence mused to herself as she thought in the back of her head. She had endured countless hardships in her life, so the prospect of portraying a fake wife to a wealthy dentist for five years seemed manageable. Florence was confident in her ability to fulfill this role, as long as she remained obedient and adhered to his rules. After all, she had never formed deep connections with any other man in her life, so maintaining a distance from others to protect Doctor Heath Godric’s image would be a relatively straightforward task.

Frequently Asked Questions

Florence Pugh has absolutely crushed it in several films where she takes center stage, and I’ve been obsessed with her performances for years. One of her breakout roles was in 'Lady Macbeth' (2016), where she played Katherine, a young woman trapped in a miserable marriage who goes to terrifying lengths to reclaim her freedom. Her raw intensity in that role was unreal—like, you couldn’t look away even if you wanted to. Then there’s 'Midsommar' (2019), Ari Aster’s psychedelic horror masterpiece. Pugh’s portrayal of Dani, a grieving girlfriend dragged into a cult’s twisted rituals, was heartbreaking and terrifying in equal measure. The way she balanced vulnerability with sheer emotional exhaustion? Chef’s kiss.

She also starred in Greta Gerwig’s 'Little Women' (2019) as Amy March, and honestly, she stole the show for me. Amy’s often seen as the 'annoying' sister, but Pugh brought so much depth and wit to the character that you couldn’t help but love her. And let’s not forget 'Black Widow' (2021), where she played Yelena Belova, Natasha Romanoff’s snarky, emotionally complex sister. Pugh turned what could’ve been a standard action sidekick into one of the MCU’s most beloved new characters—her chemistry with Scarlett Johansson was gold. More recently, she knocked it out of the park in 'Don’t Worry Darling' (2022) as Alice, a ’50s housewife unraveling a dark conspiracy. Even with all the off-screen drama, her performance was magnetic. I’m always excited to see what she does next—she’s got this rare ability to make every role feel alive.
