Although it was very loud, Marlin was not shocked at all as she had expected this. “How long have you noticed?” Marlin asked the demon sitting on the floor. She dispelled her concealing spells and showed herself in front of the demon. “Since the moment you entered Britney’s mind.” The demon answered. The demon had horns so huge that they were bigger than his head and curled twice. His eyes were glowing yellow and his body was dark violet with mysterious markings all over. Nearby, Marlin could see rotting corpses and skeletons of various races. Perhaps Marlin was used to the smell, but it did not smell as bad as it looked.

As it breathed its last, half of its large body ended up on land. Quincy, Susan, and the others were shocked to their core, their faces extremely pale. They had never seen such beasts in their lives. “What is this thing even?” “I’ve never seen such a monster. Is it a mutated catfish?” Dorothy swallowed a pill and said, “No, that’s not it. This is a demon.” “Huh?” “A demon? Demons actually exist?”

Sybil felt a little sick at the idea of being happy at killing something so innocent. “Are you sure you know what this is?” She nodded. Clearly the demonic had a serious issue going on at the moment. This war being fought, it was with truly evil creatures. “A demon, and the only kind of spider demon I can think of that meets what I feel and see is the Jorogumo. I’ve only heard, never seen nor dealt with something of that caliber. From what I know it’s a female demon and she is a high level one.” Aries jaw clenched slightly and he looked really dark.

I argue, trying my best not to give up. Ever so slowly, he lifts his head. His eyes are black and soulless. His skin color washes away as a shadow emerges from his chest and slowly separates from his body. Covering my mouth, I try my best not to scream as the demonic creature shifts its head and looks at me. There are no eyes, just empty black holes. The Demon has three fingers each and smelled of burned ash. The more I stare at it, the more I recognize what it is. "Katrina!" The voice yells out.

I asked. The demon nodded and approached the border of the pentagram. "With your mother..." he said, his eyes ice-blue, cold, mocking. "That blonde girl?" he looked at Martha. "Yes. I was a bit too much for her in my true form." "Motes of Darkness probably didn't help either," I agreed. The demon smiled at me again. "So why did you call me...son? Do you want to get a sister, perchance? From the black-haired one?"

She says trailing off as tears roll down her cheeks and she didn't need to finish. I could fill in the blanks and could only imagine how long she's been holding this in. She looks as if she's fighting with her emotions and shifts into her vampire form. It seems to be her defense mechanism and I'm not afraid of her. As fast as she shifts into a vampire, she's back to human and crumbles to my living room floor.

Bethel frowned for a moment, “Well from a baby really, she would summon cakes from the kitchen and she would summon Lady Persephone’s son’s toys to play with. It was quite amusing really.” Helga’s eyes narrowed, “Seraphina, you are such a mystery.” She shook her head. “What do you mean?” Bethel questioned. “Well if we just consider the facts first, she is a Dragon Dhampir, a Dhampir with a familiar is rare enough yet, to have a Dragon familiar? I know I don’t need to tell you how rare that is,” Bethel nodded at Helga. “She also carries Alexandria’s Genesis, she has the markings for spirit, she-” Helga’s face paled as a thought came to mind.

But it's her eyes—brilliant green orbs full of fire and unspoken strength that ensnare me. The vision shifts. A demon looms, a grotesque predator whose presence sends waves of fury through me. It targets her and an older woman, her mother perhaps. The demon's attack is merciless, scorching the older woman from the inside out, leaving her broken and lifeless. Another scene flashes before me: a man, her father, sleeping soundly as the same demon descends, its claws tearing through him with monstrous precision.

Shortly afterwards, they lastly found what they’d been looking for. Evania and Sumico saw a young lady, about the same age with them. The young lady was seen squatting down on the floor, with all her fear, anxiety, panic and frustration. Meanwhile, in front of the young lady, they saw a big, tall, blue monster, with his two long pointed horns, his two sharp canine teeth, and his dark red eyes. The big, tall, blue monster was seen fighting against four scorpion demons which were showing their true forms in four gigantic scorpions.

I stared at him while waiting for an answer. “It’s a Demon’s symbol.” My eyes furrowed at what he said. I stared at his eyes but he seems serious! But what? Demon’s symbol? I don’t understand. “D-Demon?” I stammered. He nodded and looked away. He’s now back on staring at the glass wall. I shook my head in disagreement. “Are you kidding me? There’s no such thing about Demons! I am finding the murderer and-“ “It’s always been the Demon’s fault, Majesty. They are just using the people to do bad things but it’s always been their idea to hurt and kill someone.” He said while staring at the glass wall. I am even more confuse now.
