Flowers In The Attic Books の小説・ストーリー

As I entered head dive into the attic all I could see was darkness inside, it was pitch black with no sign of light inside that dark and creepy attic even though it was bright sunny morning outside, I often used to ask my mother the reason behind the lack of windows or ventilation inside this attic and she always used to laugh it off and now I was wondering the same question all over again, it was so difficult to hold the ground due the lack of light as unknown darkness always used to scare me off but I have grown up now and I need to keep aside me concerns and focus on the mission so I carefully brought the lamp on the upper surface of attic through its small entrance hole. After keeping th

Atticus is a ghost, he's not real. The room is almost pitch black save for the light coming from underneath the door. I still have to rely on my sense of touch to find the nearest wall. I don't have time to panic because I'm waving my hands in the air, hoping I don't trip over something. When I touch what feels like the frame of the door, my hands scan anxiously for the knob. Once it's open, I can see a little better through the dim light of the stained glass window. I cautiously peak my head into the hallway and from the looks of it, Atticus isn't here. The entire house is back to being old and abandoned.

But behind her smile is an evil plan that even Tom didn't know. "I'm afraid I can't go with you, girls. I will take this chance to take a look in the library near the coffee shop and buy some books. I will pick you up later," said Tom. Tom wants to buy a new release volume of the vampire book that Celestine loves to read. He will give it to her to lessen his guilt for having an affair with her cousin.

Even Amber was surprised. I looked at the book again and read out what was inscribed on it, "Flowers in a Strange Garden." This meant the lady was telling the truth. There was actually a garden in Eclipse pack, just not the regular one. I dropped the book and grabbed the box, observing the flowers. Their light red colored petals were absolutely beautiful. Little wonder they did beautiful things. There was no doubt that these were the Rain Flowers. I hoped they help bring back Miguel's memory. I took just one petal and hid it safely in my pocket.

Ben stood in front of the door, placing his hand on the doorknob, and looked at Isabella and Rose. "Are you ready?" Ben asked. Isabella nodded firmly, even though her heart raced. Rose looked nervous but said nothing and stood beside Isabella. Ben turned the doorknob, and with a creaking sound of old wood, the attic door slowly opened... Ben slowly opened the attic door, the creaking of the old wood seemed to emphasize the eerie atmosphere surrounding them. Isabella stood behind Ben, her feelings a mix of fear and curiosity. Next to her, Rose clutched her hands tightly, unable to hide her anxiety.

I kicked open the attic door and slammed it behind me, twisting the rusted lock until it clicked. Silence. For a second. Then a low moan began to rise from the floor beneath me. I didn’t look down. Instead, I turned on my phone flashlight and scanned the attic. Dust choked the air, thick enough to taste. Cobwebs hung from the ceiling like curtains. But there it was. The Throne. A faded red velvet chair, carved from black wood, shaped like a blooming rose with thorns for armrests. A chair fit for a queen—or a sacrifice.

“She said there's a storybook in the attic, but I never learned to read, so I never knew what was inside.” “I should feel warmth when I hear that… but whenever she told me those things, all I felt was anger. Anger at my mother for leaving me—to face all your hatred alone.” Hilda took a deep breath, remembering. “Maybe you never noticed, but I gave you gifts every day. Most were flowers—your favorites—because I had no money and didn’t know what else to give. I grew those flowers myself and left them at your window.” “Stop this madness,” the old man said through gritted teeth. “Come down.”

"Attic, niece. Now." I followed him up the creaky stairs, heart pounding with the thunder. The attic was dusty, filled with old trunks and heirlooms—faded portraits, rusted jewelry, a massive four-poster bed in the corner, canopy torn. Wind rattled the small window, rain pounding like fists. He locked the trapdoor behind us. "Storm's trapping us here. Perfect for breeding my little whore proper."

Unfortunately, the happy times were long behind them. Cassiopeia took out the pictures and tore off Lucas's figure from each one of them before throwing them into the trash can. Anya and she were the only ones that remained. Halfway through packing, she caught the whiff of a repulsive smell. She frowned instinctively. When she went to open the door, the smell grew sharper. When she had taken a few steps forward, she was hit with a heavy wave of nausea and almost lost her balance. She staggered a few steps before planting herself against the wall. Her head felt like mud.

The silence pressed against me from all sides. My attention shifted toward the ceiling. A small hatch was hidden above the hallway outside the room. The attic. Something inside me immediately wanted to check it. Maybe it was instinct. Maybe paranoia. Maybe desperation. I wasn't even sure anymore. I dragged an old chair beneath the hatch and pushed it open. Dust rained down onto my shoulders. The smell hit me immediately. Old wood. Mold. Forgotten things. I climbed up slowly and pulled myself into the attic. Darkness surrounded me except for a few thin beams of sunlight pushing through cracks in the roof. Boxes were stacked everywhere. Furniture covered with sheets sat abandoned in corners. T
