A riddle appeared on a stone plaque by the pool: "By day it sleeps, by night it soars, Silent as the moon, it holds the core. Speak its name to calm the tide, And through the maze, you may glide." Nikolai and I pondered the riddle, our eyes scanning the area for any hints. After a few moments, a soft voice echoed through the trees. “The answer is the owl,” it said. “Speak the name, and the way will be shown.” Following the guidance, I called out, “Owl!” At that instant, the water in the pool began to bubble, and a hidden pathway emerged, leading us further into the garden.

The next riddle appeared: *The more of me you take, the more you leave behind. “Footsteps,” I said, moving to the next platform. But the third riddle stumped me: *I’m light as a feather, yet the strongest person can’t hold me for long.* I hesitated too long, and the platform beneath me crumbled. I fell, the void swallowing me whole— Until a hand reached out, pulling me back. “Another chance,” Esther’s voice said, echoing in the void. The platform reformed beneath me, and I tried again, my heart racing. “Breath,” I said finally, stepping onto the correct platform.

‘We were out,’ she said and continued to the kitchen. Raven was glad he had secretly cast a cover-up spell that made sure that no one could find, what shouldnt be found. Including them. They had just been in his room. He hadn't seen Floyd appear and wondered how he'd searched for them. He kept his eyes on Floyd and slid down to the table. Floyd didn't lower his eyes, rather there was an amused glint in the gray. As if he were challenging Raven. ‘There is something wrong with you,’ Floyd said suspiciously.

"It's a meeting of two alike, make sure no one knows about our little secret of meeting each other. You love your mother so much, she should not know about us... It should just be between both of us, do you understand?", Floyd asked. Madok only nodded his head, being too drunk and tired to answer him. After some while, they both stood up together and looked at themselves, just as they were about to turn and leave outside, Floyd's eyes caught Madoks' face in the mirror, his breathing became shallow as his heart beat thumped loudly in his chest. "The boy just looks so familiar", Floyd thought.

My companion nods grimly, eyes fixed on the foreboding lock. 3 minutes and 9 seconds left "That riddle was our key," Scarlett replies, "Now, let's help each other as we turn the dials to the matching symbols," With her words, I lean closer, studying the engraved markings as my companion does the same. One by one, we slowly rotate each ring, matching up the ciphers based on our best guesses. The symbols seem nonsensical, hailing from no language I recognize. They also seem to shift and change as I try to focus on them, making it nearly impossible to decipher their meaning.
