LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK
I craved solitude, longing to escape from everything and everyone, seeking solace in alcohol and sleep, which was my plan for the evening.
On my way home, I stopped at a nearby store and purchased a bottle of strong alcohol to quickly intoxicate myself. Upon arriving home, I locked the door, drew the curtains closed, and began drinking. The cycle of drinking and crying continued until I became drunk, and any memory of my past triggered outbursts of yelling. I felt as though I was losing my grip on reality. I struggled against the urge to forgive my mother, blaming her for my shattered past.
