They didn't wear hazmat suits or tactical gear. They wore tailored black suits and carried silver briefcases. There were three of them, and they moved with a synchronized, rhythmic grace that made my fur stand on end.

Each beat vibrated through the ground, but it wasn't any drum or any physical instrument for that matter. It was the footsteps of the soldiers, marching in perfect synchronisation. And then they came into view. The soldiers of Hefternort moved as one unit, their bare torsos revealing powerful, chiseled muscles. Each one of them was unusually tall and broad; unlike the others present, they wore no armor. Just thick, fur-lined pants that seemed almost out of place in the warm evening air. But they showed no signs of discomfort, as if neither cold nor heat could affect them.

No more resigning without a word. That same night there was a crowd of people walking in a hurry. Every stomp they made didn't even make a sound on the ground. Even their feet were wearing black boots that seemed to be woven from cloth and thick foot protection against anything that could pass through the ground. Every movement and speed of the foot is a rush. It was late at night when you saw a group of men walking hurriedly. They were wearing black clothes with swords around their waists. Their faces were also covered with a black cloth with only their eyes showing.

Otherwise, they would have caught me with my voice. I showed them my wrist and they scanned it with a machine before nodding and opening the door for me. They have high security. Maybe they are too scared of Scars. Scars don't have this kind of security which means they ain't scared from triangles. Oh, what the hell am I even mumbling in my head? I walked inside and my eyes widened. What the hell???? People were in every corner dressed in their triangles uniform. Some of them were wearing masks and some weren't as they chatted and laughed.

We took our uniforms and changed into them in a hurry. “Whoa, check me out,” Adrian said. She emerged wearing a red uniform with gold streaks around it and an oval across her chest. “Looking good,” I said. I walked up to Adrian sporting a green uniform with pink stripes on the sides and a pink butterfly outline on my chest. “Same to you, Medulla!” Adrian said. “Medulla?” I asked.
