Something simple. Something me. Something that made me feel like myself again.
I chose a short and silk top with a spaghetti hand, it was me. I laid them across the bed, then sat beside it, my towel still clutched around me, and let out a shaky laugh that wasn’t really a laugh at all.
“This is insane,” I whispered into the emptiness.
