Surrendered To The Italian Tycoon

Surrendered To The Italian Tycoon

Like going back in time. Sunlight streamed delicately through the tall windows, creating golden strips that lit up random sections of books. It was a literary paradise. And I, daughter of a schoolteacher and a voracious reader by nature, found myself smiling for the first time in days. “Oh my God…” I whispered, running my fingers along the spine of a brown leather-bound volume. “There are more books here than in my university’s library.” It wasn’t an exaggeration. There were rare editions. Works in Latin. Books on philosophy, art, psychology, classical literature. Translations of Russian poets. Treatises on ancient wars. French romances. I felt like a child in a toy store.

The President's Little Girl

The President's Little Girl

Rafe had left her to her own devices, but his presence lingered in the back of her mind, a constant reminder of her precarious situation. As the evening approached, Lia wandered into the library, hoping to find something to distract her from her spiraling thoughts. The room was massive, with shelves that stretched to the ceiling, filled with books that seemed untouched. She ran her fingers along the spines, stopping occasionally to read the titles. Most of them were about business, law, and history—hardly the escapism she was looking for. But then she noticed a small section tucked away in the corner, filled with old, worn books that seemed out of place among the pristine volumes. She pulled

REBORN AS A SUPERSTAR

REBORN AS A SUPERSTAR

It was clear that this library was not just a showpiece; it was a place where stories and knowledge came alive. I couldn't help but gasp in wonder. "Raffaele, this is incredible! It's like something out of a fairy tale." His eyes sparkled with amusement as he watched my reaction. "I'm glad you like it. It's been a personal sanctuary of mine for years." The library was a treasure trove of literary wonders. Classic novels, historical tomes, modern bestsellers—all coexisted harmoniously on the shelves. There were also rare and ancient manuscripts displayed behind glass cabinets, their fragile pages protected for posterity.

The Devil's Night Bride

It wouldn't kill to explore. It was a library. A very very sad library. The only books here where history books not any type of history but vampire history books, school books, and some war novels with some mystery books here and there. Looks like their taste in books suck because why? Why would someone's library lack romance, sci-fi or even fantasy even though it's one. "Are you done crucifying my books?" Damian said slowly i didn't panic because i already knew he was there. "Nope not yet give me a second" i held my hands out "yhup I'm done" he laughed as he walked closer.

Cursed to be my Mate

Cursed to be my Mate

Each chandelier held within it a dancing flame, casting flickering shadows upon the shelves of books that stretched as far as the eye could see. The shelves were made of intricately carved marble, adorned with scrolls and books, and delicate filigree. Each book was a work of art, bound in fine leather and decorated with intricate, gilded designs. Amira paused in front of one of the large mahogany tables. “Put them here,” she ordered the servants, who proceeded to place the ledgers on the table whilst she looked at the library in awe.

Excellent plot! Surprisingly, the FL is the one not really likable, but that's super intriguing and keeps you hooked. ML is really funny in FL's body! No excessive violence and verbal abuse. It's one of the best books on this platform. Wish I could give it more stars!

PRETEND YOU MINE

PRETEND YOU MINE

I spoke to my fishy companion and sipped my coffee. I ate a cherry yogurt at the kitchen bar and fixed a second cup of coffee. One whole wall of the main room held shelves of books. I perused his collection, which was eclectic to say the least. Classics, mysteries, mainstream stuff and tons of historical fiction filled out most of it. There was some military history and books on photography. A large amount on statistics and gambling too. He had popular fiction and even a few books of poetry, which made me smile. I liked that Ethan valued books. I snagged a book of letters Keats had written to Fanny Brawne and took it into the living room to sit on the sofa and enjoy. I had my coffee, angsty

Moonstruck by You

Moonstruck by You

Oh what to read what to read what to read, she twirled around inside the library, books arranged in the vast room upon bookshelf so high they nearly touched the ceiling. There was enough space in the middle too, with chairs and tables to seat at and read. But in the note, Luca had said she should take a book and return to the room to read. She slid her hand through the shelves, pondering upon which section would interest her the more. She found the section on history books first, she reached for an old book that caught her eyes, with a thick brown, worn cover and a picture of a wolf on it, one that looked quite similar to the painting of the wolf on the wall in the living room.

Anne and the Hidden world

Anne and the Hidden world

After a brief scolding from my teacher, I was sent to assist the librarian. The library was a sanctuary of towering shelves and soft whispers, its grandeur unexpectedly breathtaking. The scent of aged books and polished wood wrapped around me like a comforting cloak. Wandering through the aisles, I stumbled upon a dimly lit corner that exuded an eerie presence. A single book stood out—its cover blank and edges charred. Curious, I picked it up. "Weird," I muttered, flipping through its brittle pages. My blood ran cold when I saw my name inscribed on the last page.

The Sacrifice

The Sacrifice

The memories wafted through the room like the fragrance of a cherished book, each page of the album holding a chapter of Sophia's life. With a gentle touch, Margaret turned the pages, revealing images of a young Sophia immersed in books, her eyes alight with curiosity. In one photograph, Sophia sat cross-legged on the floor, surrounded by a sea of open books, her fingers tracing the words as if deciphering the secrets of the universe. "I always thought she'd achieve great things," Margaret continued, her voice a tender melody weaving through the room. The photographs bore witness to Sophia's dreams, and Margaret's stories breathed life into the aspirations that had once danced in Sophia's ey

Forgotten Embers

Forgotten Embers

On another such occasion shortly thereafter, my work brought me to the southwestern region past Laoce, and on my return from the mountains to Pyre, I was stopped by a group of bandits who identified themselves as having been paid to ensure my unsafe passage. She turned the page over and stopped, her eyes straying to an image down below. It was an old photograph printed in black of a group of dignitaries gathered beneath the portico of a large building with a familiar phrase inscribed. Library, for the Betterment of Public Hearts "The library..." she breathed, astonished. 'No. But the librarian told me that the library had burned; it was destroyed and all the books were lost.' She touched the
