We were in their territory and it's weird for them to hear a man calling me an Alpha. "My apologies, may I know if you want him here, sir?" he asked. I scowled and let out a deep sigh, looked like I had no choice after all, "let him in," I commanded and he obeyed immediately, then after a few minutes, my brother came in from the front of the door, thumbs in his pockets, wearing a long mischievous smile and staring at me as he closed the door behind him using his feet, kicking it from behind him.

She wondered why she never told Tilly about the way she felt for her brother. It was weird, because she and Tilly told each other everything. They kept nothing from each other. Tilly parents had even invested in her food truck business when she started it to show their support, but she'd kept her crush on Kaleb a secret. Barros explained to his son as he leaned forward in his chair. "But dad after all my hard work? Isla knows I can give her the life she deserves—away from the manipulation and control. The documents I showed her today only confirmed it.”

Aurora put up a hand. “Don’t!” All four of them froze. She stood up slowly, arms crossed, eyes narrowed playfully. “You were together”. “No…” Ryan said. “Not really…” Owen added. “Coincidence” Asher claimed. “I left late!” Ian blurted. Aurora tilted her head, staring them down like a detective. “Four brothers who don’t usually share elevators, suddenly come back in a neat line… five minutes apart. Same calm expression. Damien whispered, caressing the urn, a look of release in his eyes. "Yes… we'll go be with her…" Ethan's voice was calm. "Sister… wait for us…" Julian held the urn tight. As the first ray of dawn broke the horizon, the three brothers huddled together, shielding the small urn with their bodies. The sun fell upon them. Searing pain began to spread, but they didn't flinch. Instead, they smiled. "Lilith… we're coming." A few minutes later, only four piles of ash remained in the observatory.

That was the point. I didn’t RSVP or announce my arrival.
