Three Days Short of Forever

Three Days Short of Forever

I finished the last stroke and looked up to find Samuel leaning in the doorway. He carried two cups of coffee, his eyes crinkling into a smile behind his gold-rimmed glasses. "The wing motif on the final draft of 'Caged Bird' has three more cracks than the first." My hand faltered. The wings in the drawing were broken but still straining upward. It was exactly how I'd felt that night when I'd hunched over in the storage room, sketching. I accepted the coffee and took a sip, the bitterness unfurling across my tongue.

Falling for the Doctor

Falling for the Doctor

“Work quietly.” As she traced the outline of Icarus’ right wing, the doctor left a burning wet trail, slowly making her way up, tracing the tip of her tongue along her spine. When she again switched brush, taking the flat knife, dipping it in white paint, Cassandra unclasped her bra, throwing it away. She cupped her right breast, resting her head onto her shoulder as she murmured in her ear, “I always imagined his wings black.”

Cassandra Adkins
Loving this story so far, my problem is keeping up with enough points so I can at least a chapter a day. Hoping I'll be able to save to just buy the book because I really love it and want to see what happens. Also looking forward to your next book.

A very good story and the way the author described and wrote this book is absolutely amazing. The story and the journey of each character is well shown in the story. Ms.Kir and Victoria should be together in the next book ,they matched each other.Megan should be with Judge Darcy to tame her.

Was He Always Like This……?

The Heart of Reality. 💔 There had never been a fourth. Or so they believed. ⸻ 🌙 The Forgotten Throne The book revealed another memory. 🌙 Ancient ruins appeared around them. A massive palace. Larger than kingdoms. Built from black crystal. 🖤 Four thrones stood inside. Not three. Four. 👑👑👑👑 The first belonged to the King. The second to the Guardians. The third to the Heart. And the fourth…

The Bride I Used to Be

The Bride I Used to Be

The air pressed against her skin as if the wing itself were testing her resolve. The fourth door on the right stood half-open. She pushed it gently and slipped inside. The air smelled faintly of paper and smoke, as though a fire had once warmed this room. Shelves lined the walls, filled with books whose spines were faded and cracked. A shawl rested over the arm of a chair near the window. On the small table beside it lay a teacup with a ring dried into the porcelain, as if someone had put it down and never returned.

YOU ARE MENTAL

YOU ARE MENTAL

In all honesty, I felt kind of honored to be a part of all her masterpieces. I took a closer look at it. She had carefully detailed every part of my body, shading the muscles and carefully placing every strand of my hair. Wow... I looked good. I continued turning the pages, knowing that I’d be coming back to that later. Except the next couple of pages were also of me. Except this time with my wings. I knew that she had grown fond of them once she saw them, but this really proved to me just how much she liked them. There were three full, front and back pages full of just different pictures of my wings. Some with me attached and some not.

Brushstrokes of the unseen

Brushstrokes of the unseen

Unthinkable. And yet her heart thundered as though it were inevitable. She forced herself back a step, coldness snapping into place like armor. “Finish your work. Then leave.” His expression flickered, something unreadable passing through his eyes. He didn’t argue. He simply picked up his brush again. But as she turned away, she knew she had not won. That night, unable to stop herself, Sophia returned once more. The building was deserted again. The mural now spanned nearly the entire wall, impossible to ignore. Wings stretched across the surface, vast and incomplete, jagged edges bleeding into spirals of shadow and light. In their center, emerging faintly but undeniably, was a figure.

shattered vows

shattered vows

Maybe it was her one sided love or her restless feelings which were fading away into the darkness while giving a new light and hope to Veda as comoers surged inside her heart and a feeling of breaking free finally hit her hard. She was breaking free. From Adyant's toxic grasp. From her own doubts. With every brushstroke, Veda reclaimed herself. Her art studio, once a sanctuary, now transformed into a battleground. Where she fought for her soul. Where she emerged victorious. The painting began to take shape. A woman, wings unfolding, rising from the ashes. Veda stepped back, gazing at her masterpiece. Tears streamed down her face as she finally felt a sense of freedom inside her.

25 Forbidden Flames Of Raw Desire

25 Forbidden Flames Of Raw Desire

**Story 6: Cursed Ink** **Chapter 3** Aria stood in front of the full-length mirror, naked, breathing hard. Her body was now a masterpiece of living, hungry art. The phoenix burned across her lower back, the black roses claimed her left breast, the serpent coiled around her right thigh with its head teasing her clit, angel wings spread across her shoulders, and the thorn chain wrapped around her waist like a possessive belt. She looked beautiful. She looked ruined.

The Ninth Cipher

The Ninth Cipher

Page by page. the book disappeared. The woman gasped. "The White Book..." "It's gone." The First Reader quietly shook his head. "No." "It has become something greater." The glowing particles gathered around Adrian's right hand. Slowly... they transformed into a simple white feather. No cover. No pages. No ink. Only a feather. Elias looked at it and whispered, "So the Book has finally chosen its final form." Adrian held the feather carefully. It felt almost weightless. Yet memories flooded through his mind.

Clipped Wings

Clipped Wings

Hawk’s Point of View It didn’t take long after hanging up with June that I was already regretting my decision. It’s not that I minded helping June out, heaven knows she has been a life saver more than once for me, but I hate letting people into my sanctuary. I had meticulously built the walls up around our home, and knowingly letting in an outsider felt like I was betraying a part of myself. I like order, schedules, and discipline. Chaos, drama, and unnecessary crap do not belong here.
