I didn’t want her to be sad, so I said, "But I could think of a story to tell you." "Really?" She grinned, and I nodded. Taking a moment before I continued, "Once upon a time, there was a little princess called Ariana." "Hey, that’s my name! The princess has my name!" she exclaimed excitedly, and I nodded, "Yes, she does." As I began weaving the tale, I described how Princess Ariana lived in a sparkling castle surrounded by beautiful gardens and friendly animals. She loved exploring the enchanted forest nearby, where magical creatures roamed and adventures awaited at every turn.

Jacob gave me a smile and went back to playing a racing game on his iPad in the front. I took out three chocolate bars, giving one to the driver, auntie Meg and myself. I opened my werewolf monarch book to read. Suddenly a thought came to mind. "Auntie Meg. Will there be any princesses in the wolf kingdom?" I asked excitedly. Even if we weren't going to Walt Disney World and meeting the princesses there, maybe I could meet a wolf princess. Maybe, even become friends with her; I could give her some of my secret stash to make her like me more and want to be friends with me.
