My name is Nerd. Not my real name but the one given to me by my course mates. Because I behaved like an actual nerd. If there was a personality more extreme than introvert, then that's what I was. I was always found isolating myself from everyone else. I never attended any social gathering except it was about quiz or debate or educational talk shows hosted there in college. I had no friends because no one wants to make a friend with someone whom they can barely communicate with.

Nerds. They make the world go around, but jesus fucking christ they're so annoying. My neighbor is one of them, and he's everything you're imagining. Gawky, scrawny, glasses, socially retarded as fuck. I once saw him say 'hello' to the mailman. He's not there to make conversation, dude, he's just doing his job. But we need them. Honest to god, I wish we didn't. There's nothing more humiliating than going to someone like Brian to ask him for help, especially when you're someone like me.

Adele P.O.V In high school, do not ever make a mistake that would make you the talk of the school. Most especially if you are tagged as a nerd. It would spread faster. Just imagine, hearing that the nerd kissed a guy, or confessed her love to someone. I would not call myself nerd though. I like to use the term ‘focused on the future type’, not nerd. People call people who get good grades and read a lot nerds. We are just really focused on the future. I think I need to start an awareness on that.
