I turned, and sure enough, his attention was trained on me. He had a dangerous smirk. “Scared?” He asked, challenging.

I expected him to create a scene, to tell the whole crowd about how I was just under him last night, but then he did what I did not expect at all. He smirked. A slow and cruel one. One that speaks to me that he was enjoying my fear, that he was in fact savouring it. Then lazily and somewhat deliberately, he mouthed the words, “Surprise, surprise, Mrs Moreti.”

Freya did not stop attacking, Phoebe did not stop defending, but she was already tired so she decided that play time was over. Author’s POV It wasn’t freddy. It wasn’t Freddy but his own hallucination. Due to the past mental stress and exhaustion his mind was filled with the thought of freddy coming back into his life and running everything he has now. And eventually that evening he ended up being tricked by his mind which played him well.
