I returned to the room and frantically packed my stuff, taking everything I saw and shoving it into the suitcase. It wasn't until my calf bumped into the corner of the table that a sob escaped me. I wanted so badly to push him against the wall and ravage his face, but the feeling of pain and disgust from the past hit me as I forcefully removed my hand from him. “Freya, what’s the matter? Ever since you got into the pack, you’ve tried to kill yourself by escaping and you’ve gotten yourself into more trouble than anyone in this pack, and it’s just been, what, a couple of days? Why won’t you talk to me and tell me what’s going on? Let me know if there’s something I can fix.” I scoffed. “Oh come on. You’ve done enough fixing, Zac. How about I decide not to let you fix anything and I decide to just move on with my life? I don’t see why you want to fix everything.”

He curtly replied that he was waiting for his friends to arrive. Meanwhile, Becca was busy writing on her laptop. She loved reading and writing. She was working on her first novel, which contained a romance between a Lycan and a human. She loved writing fantasy and paranormal romance, the werewolf story being the first novel in a series she had plotted out over the summer. She was writing the last few chapters and looking forward to completing her first manuscript.

“I’m not that interested in swimming, but since it’s an excuse to see you naked, I’m game.” “Harr-harr,” I roll my eyes at him, and Freddy laughs, easily pulling me up with him. He is very gentle with me, sort of like an oversized, blonde puppy. He is actually taller than Lucas, but not quite as swole. Freddy is more cut. I grab the hem of my jeans. “Promise not to get inside my head even when I’m without my vervain.” He places his hand on his chest with a smile, and I try not to check out his abs. “I promise not to read your mind...now, will you please undress?”

There's this one fuckboy at my school, Connor Owens, and he's probably the hottest guy in my grade. At least that's what all the girls think. He's tall, has brown hair, tanned skin, and the most mesmerizing bluish-green eyes. He's a really fun person to be around, and he's a pretty smart guy. We're in all the AP classes together.

Bethany the abused daughter of an unforgiving man, looking for shelter and compassion. Martha, the baker’s daughter. Judy, the traveller’s wife. Michelle, the starving artist. Opal, the musician.
