Chapter Fourteen After they informed me of the pack leader's idea, I was restless and planning my rescue. I will have to succeed this time around. This would have to be my last attempt at escaping. I distanced myself from him so that I wouldn't get confused by my feelings for him. I think he noticed it because he had been watching my movement. I was surprised one day to see that he had bought me a hairband. He said it was a gift that I should never take off.

“You said it has some magic. Find it and place it on her head or something.” I felt Terah’s hands on me, searching for the bracelet I had hidden in my bra. I felt repulsed and tried to push him away, but my head was the only thing I could focus on. Hearing their talk about the bracelet gave me an idea though. With the last strength I could muster, I reached down into my bra and grabbed the bracelet, which I placed on my head. It worked like magic, as the headache disappeared almost immediately. The room was still spinning when I returned to normal and I remained on the floor, too tired to get up.

" She knew how to ride one so she was finding nothing difficult that could ruin her escape plans. The only thing she needed to do was find a strong hope and she was gone. She heard a loud sound behind her, like something was being flogged and that certainly gained her attention. She wore a simple dress and had her black hair tied in a ponytail. She was also wearing a headband with a crescent moon as its design. She noticed it was something all the other maids were wearing.

She looked like a nude female form dipped in golden champagne, the droplets of the drink sliding down her skin. A thick braid of brown-golden hair crowned her head ending in a low loose bun that was circled by the same braid. An ancient jeweled comb pierced and pretended to hold the bun in place. Her black diamond wolf pendant rivaled with a few other thin golden necklaces adding to the airy feeling of the ensemble.

Sixto utter first. There is an evident hesitation on Helena's face but she still follow what Sixto said. Each hand band had wolf ears attached to the top. This was the party favor. A jewel encrusted head band with wolf ears. REAL wolf ears. Ears that had been taken from an ACTUAL werewolf. The guests were delighted. They picked out their own headbands, and some of the women promptly put them on. Lucia mouthed ‘I’m sorry’ to me as we watched the guests revel in the disgusting headbands.
