WE ARE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HILL

WE ARE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HILL

Obviously, I'm still alive; I can still feel my breathing, despite the fact that my entire body is suffering like if I couldn't survive. God Hades approached me gently, reaching out his hand to grasp the notebook with the three words, "Hector, how is the sense of standing in the middle of the Life and Death," he said as he sat down in front of me "isn't it wonderfully relaxing and pleasurable?", and Even though I was in immense agony, I could still display fury on my face as the deity grinned with a very cruel smile. "Killing me," I mumble aloud.

The Alpha’s Rejected Mate

The Alpha’s Rejected Mate

“It is unfamiliar.” I folded my arms tightly. “I wanted this.” “Yes.” “Then why does it feel like something is wrong?” Death tilted its head slightly. “Because you are no longer being formed by belief.” “Then what is forming me?” Silence lingered longer than usual. “Something older,” Death finally said. The goddess stiffened. I felt my stomach drop. “Older than belief?” “Yes.” “Older than gods?” “Yes.” I stared at Death. “What are you saying?”

The Lost Demoness: Her Silvery Red Eyes Opens

The Lost Demoness: Her Silvery Red Eyes Opens

Vastria started to share where she got the quote from as she attended the university in the human town. The quote was written by Marquis de Sade. Vastria learned of this French nobleman who was also a writer in her writing course at the university she attended. She got the quote from one of his works named ‘Philosophy in the Bedroom’. The quote written: ‘If nature denies eternity to beings, it follows that their destruction is one of her laws. Now, once we observe that destruction is so useful to her that she absolutely cannot dispense with it from this moment onward the idea of annihilation which we attach to death ceases to be real what we call the end of the living animal is no longer a t

she says confidently. “How are you so sure?” Chris wonders aloud. “Because Mei would not exist if he was.” “I don’t follow,” he says confused. “When a God dies, all their power dies with them, meaning everything they ever created; everything their magic touched, reverts to its original state. Basically, if Oshmin was dead all nagata would cease to exist.” Chris gulps and Axel howls as a shudder rocks through me. The thought that my very existence is held in someone else’s hands is terrifying, mostly because it’s something I experienced for most of my life, and I don’t like feeling that way.

I absolutely loved this book. It was such a welcome change to have a timid and sweet main character. The writing is so great, and had me in tears multiple times. my heart broke and soared along with the story. I would highly recommend this book!

i thought book 2 couldn't possibly live up to book 1 but i am so happy to be wrong. this just moved the entire series forward and was even better than the first. i think i'm a huge Mei stan now and am so excited to start the next book. i rarely cry at books, but this one got me several times.

his voice deepened, "hatred is like death: it does not sleep. It does not forget." He walked to the table and refilled his goblet. Raising it, he muttered as if to the air: "The world will soon see — the God of Tziyonia is no different from the broken and stone gods of Nyvarra, or the dead ones of Midras." Just then, a great thunder rolled across the sky. It did not crash with fury, but it groaned like a warning, like ancient stones grinding under the feet of giants. The windows trembled. The candle flickered.

Master of Justice, Slave to Desire

Master of Justice, Slave to Desire

What the hell was happening to me? Nyx and Erebus shared a look, the two of them having a conversation that didn’t need words. I hated the feeling of being excluded more than I already was, but a mix of fear and pain held me at bay. I wondered if fucking a god had some until-now unknown side effects, but my thoughts were interrupted. “I don’t know if you mortals have noticed this, but,” Erebus asked, watching me as all humor evaporated from his expression. “The gods are all dead.”

The Black Wolf

“Yes. But unlike mortals who pass on to heaven or hell, when a god dies, we don’t go anywhere. We disappear. We become nothing.” A chill ran through me. “What do you mean by nothing?” “Nothingness,” he repeated, voice barely above a whisper. “No form. No soul. No afterlife. And worse, no memory. Every trace of that god is erased from all realms. It’s as if they never existed at all.” I stared at him, the weight of that truth sinking like stones in my chest. “That’s… a terrible fate.”

Trapped Between The CEO Brothers

Trapped Between The CEO Brothers

Alexa was once a human until she became an object—a sex doll, to be precise. And Jean was born an object; he wanted to be treated as a decent human being. And for that reason, he personally hates his God. "God was dead. I have murdered him," he said frequently, quoting Nietzsche's most famous line. Jean hated his God. And he often cried at night, wondering why God had created him only to make him suffer. He came to the conclusion that God actually did not exist.

Living with a God

Living with a God

It feels like I was pushing a huge rock and didn’t make it to move. Anubis smiled in a sinister way. His eyes stare back at me with his black orbs’ pupils. “This isn’t funny for telling me you are meeting some God. Isn’t that insulting?” “What? —” My voice trailed off, “What are you talking about? Why do you keep talking about a God?” I tried to hide anything that he can tell I know a God. But when I think more of it, his name, and his aura. It isn’t just right like a human. “Are you a God?”

With Aim of Love

With Aim of Love

“See…people who lived there are rich, that’s not all, most of them are hypocrites, corrupted, bad, and evils, who has the harshest hearts and a dead conscious; they don’t care about others, all their interests is money and themselves, that’s all…” While he was speaking and describing, I felt like my heart was getting attacked with knives, he just was telling the truth –As we know; the truth is so painful. Frederic Nietzsche said once “Sometimes people don’t want to hear the truth because they don’t want their illusions destroyed”, my illusion was that I always believed that I was good, and my father was the bad one, though I accepted all of his corrupted money without any worries.-
